Adam Kennedy, a second baseman recently signed by the Seattle Mariners, was arrested on
Wednesday and charged with DUI. The arrest came as he was driving near Newport Beach on State Route
73. According to Adam Kennedy, he was originally pulled over by the California Highway Patrol for
speeding.
Kennedy went on to say that he was having dinner with friends prior to getting into his car at
around 8:00 PM.
