and Santos Laguna, who won the Mexican Clausura title this past week. Also, two former Wizards have
new teams. Mike Jones has joined FC Hjorring in the Danish second division and will join in July..

This week's former SKC Wizards update is available for you. The European leagues are starting to
wind down for the year, while the US leagues are really kicking into gear. In indoor news, two
former players were called up to the US Futsal national team. Boris Pardo, currently of the
Missouri Comets, and Pat Healey were both called in for a camp as they prepare for the CONCACAF
Fustal championships.
Nick Rimando has come to Real Salt Lake's rescue countless times over his tenure with the club,
but RSL will have to do without their steady goalkeeper Wednesday night.
Rimando suffered a shoulder injury during RSL's 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution
Saturday night, and he did not travel with the club for its mid-week match against the Chicago Fire
at Toyota Park.
While the LA Galaxy didn't send their big names, in some ways that complicates the approach to
the game. As Sigi Schmid pointed out in post game comments, the Seattle Sounders don't know what
Sean Franklin as a midfielder is, or how Adam Cristman plays, or who is Brian Gaul. Now Seattle
knows. They know that the lineup that the Galaxy put forward is beatable.
Nagging injuries, travel, and a Saturday fixture with NY Red Bulls meant that David Beckham and
Robbie Keane would not be participating in tonight's match in against the Sounders in Seattle.
Galaxy would start Adam Cristman & Chad Barrett up front to match the physicality of Jeff Parke and
Jhon Kennedy Hurtado.
And, ladies and gents, we have our first real goal of the year frontrunner. Seattle's own Fredy
Montero makes a flash appearance with a thunderclap from on high to set the final score at 2-0 in a
tone-setting win over the Galaxy. Watching this game tonight made me wonder whether Bruce Arena
conceded defeat before the opening whistle blew.
Another week of former SKC Wizards updates. Two new former players are on the list Michal Mravec is
playing in the Dutch second division, while Milos Stojcev is playing for FC Akzhayik, the league
leaders in Kazakhstan. In fact, Stojcev scored on the weekend. Also active this week, was Yura
Movsisyan, who scored 3 goals in two games this week.
Down by one goal heading into stoppage time, another loss filled with missed opportunities and
defensive mistakes seemed likely for the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night.
Turns out all they needed was one chance.
In a wild match at the Home Depot Center, it was the battle-tested veteran Pat Noonan that
played the role of hero for the Galaxy, as his goal in the 92nd minute helped LA avert what
would've been another head-scratching loss, and instead, the Galaxy come out of Saturday's match
with FC Dallas with a point courtesy of a 1-1 draw.

CARSON, Calif. --Pat Noonan scored in stoppage time to help the Los Angeles Galaxy steal a late
point from FC Dallas in a 1-1 draw at Home Depot Center on Saturday night.
Shea converted a penalty kick in the 61st minute after Galaxy back-up goalkeeper Bill Guadette
brought down forward Blas Perez in the box a the Panamanian drove towards goal after a defensive
miscue by the Galaxy's David Junior Lopes.

This week's former SKC Wizards update is out. Herculez Gomez just continues to score goals, scoring

article, Marinelli apparently is back in the US for some reason. So it'll be interesting to see if
he turns up with a US club.
Another week of former SKC Wizards updates. Congrats to Davy Arnaud for scoring the first goal in

A new former SKC Wizards season has started with the start of the MLS season. Some quick stats,
Kevin Hartman led all players in games played in all competitions, and minutes played with 45 games
and 4050 minutes. Herculez Gomez led in league games with 37. Gomez also led in league goals scored
with 14 in the past year.
Here is this week's former SKC Wizards update. A week from now, the new season for former SKC
Wizards will start with MLS teams kicking off in the CCL. Plenty of former Wizards are working to
get contracts, JT Murray is currently on trial with LA, Stephane Auvray is on trial with Columbus,
and Scott Sealy looks set to sign with Dallas.
Another week of former Wizards updates. Eddie Johnson did sign with MLS, he ended up going to
Montreal, but the Impact traded him to Seattle for Mike Fucito and Lamar Neagle. Another former
Wizard has a new club as well, as Rauwshan McKenzie has officially signed with Chivas USA after
being on trial with them all of preseason.

Preseason is all about learning and both the Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA felt that a great
deal was learned in their preseason scrimmage on Thursday as the Galaxy defeated Chivas, 3-2
Starting a primarily reserve team lineup, the Galaxy jumped out to a three
goal lead in the first half goals.
The MLS season is getting closer, and we're approaching the end of the former SKC Wizards season.
Some former are still on trial with different teams, including Scott Sealy who looks set to sign
with Dallas. In other news, former player, Scott Lorenz, will be playing in Florida this year with
the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, who had former players Aaron Hohlbein and Abe Thompson on the team
last year.
Here's another former SKC Wizards update. The MLS season is getting closer. Some of the names in
the unknown category will probably start to jump onto teams here in the near future. Here's the
rest of the update.

Another week of Sporting KC Wizards updates. As mentioned yesterday, 8 former players are up for
the US Soccer Hall of Fame. Coming up soon, Stephane Auvray will figure out his new team in India
when the new premier league holds it draft for "lesser known" and Indian players. Also, Neal Kitson
is on the move, joining Northampton Town of the Football League 2.
And I'm not talking about Beckham's 2-year $15 million contract.
I'm talking about Omar Gonzalez. Last month Omar pulled out of the national team training camp
for a very exciting loan move to Nurnberg. His very first day there he suffered a season ending
injury at the hands well, feet of his USMNT teammate Timmy Chandler.
A day late due to the Comets game last night, but here is this week's former SKC Wizards update. In
news this week, Shavar Thomas has a new team, having signed for the expansion Montreal Impact.

Here's another week of former SKC Wizards updates. First, came word last week that Craig Rocastle
will not be playing for the Missouri Comets. Instead he has moved to Greece where he's joined his
former club, Thrasyvoulos Fylis FC, who is currently at the bottom of the second division in
Greece. In other news, Ryan Smith has come out with his side of what happened when he left KC.

Another week of former SKC Wizards updates, some extra news this week as well. By now you've heard
about Craig Rocastle signing with the Missouri Comets, but there's other news as well. Eddie
Johnson's club career continues to spiral down for him, as he's already out at Puebla in Mexico.
Apparently the forward failed his physical and was not fit and was released basically 2 days after
showing up in Mexico.
An incredibly quiet week in former SKC Wizards news with the Christmas season in full affect. But

While the retaining of David Beckham's services remains up in the air for the Los Angeles
Galaxy, five other players saw their contract situations get a lot clearer on Friday.
Sean Franklin and Bryan Jordan re-signed with Los Angeles, while Adam Cristman's option was
picked up, allowing Bruce Arena to keep key parts of the deep squad that won the 2011 MLS Cup and
Supporters' Shield.
*The Galaxy announced this morning that the club has re-signed starting defender/midfielder Sean
Franklin as well as Bryan Jordan of Temple City and reserve striker Adam Cristman for the 2012
season. The Galaxy also announced they have signed MLS veteran Pat Noonan and goalkeeper Nick
Noble. Here's more on the
A day late on the former SKC Wizards update, but being a day late has given me a little extra news
to post. Word on the Twitter account for Mexican club, Puebla FC is that they are signing former
Wizards player, Eddie Johnson. Johnson would join the brother of another Wizard, as DaMarcus
Beasley also plays for Puebla FC.
Another former SKC Wizards Update, plenty of player movement this week. Jonathan Leathers, Rauwshan
McKenzie, and Ryan Pore are now without clubs after not being selected in the second stage of the
re-entry draft. They're joined by Shavar Thomas who also wasn't selected. Also looking for a new
club, is Stephane Auvray whose was let go by the Red Bulls.
By Thera Reyes, getting her first taste of Beckham and MLS in Manila
Two years ago, it would have been unheard of to have an international football team come to
Manila. Heck, football fans even recently travelled to Malaysia to watch Arsenal, Chelsea and
Liverpool for their Asian tours.

Sporting Kansas City continued their busy start to the offseason, making another trade. This time,
the team brought in left sided midfielder/back, Bobby Convey from the San Jose Earthquakes. In
return, Sporting KC is sending an international roster spot to the Quakes. A bit of a surprising
move for KC sending the international spot to San Jose, as KC will now go from 9 international
spots to 7, the other spot KC is losing is because it's expiring from the Adam Cristman trade with
DC.
Another week of former SKC Wizards updates. The MLS season is over, but there's been a lot of busy
stuff going on this week. Today the league announced the players entered into the Re-entry draft,
plenty of former players are available, including Adam, Cristman, Taylor Graham, Frankie Hejduk,
Jonathan Leathers, Rauwshan McKenzie, Kurt Morsink, Ryan Pore, and Scott Sealy.
