Tim Cole scored the opener in the 34th minute for the ACT Rockets (Youth) tonight at Deakin
Stadium. The match was watched by Central Coast Mariners Development Manager Alex Tobi. Tobin is
looking to bolster his Mariners Youth team. But with contracts as low as $2500 per year would
anyone take the contract if offered?

A ruthless Central Coast Mariners racked up a convincing four-nil victory over the ACT State
Representative team, the Rockets, on a chilly Friday evening at Deakin Oval in Canberra.

Great to hear Canberra United announce their first signings this morning. I listened to Robbie
Hooker on ABC radio this morning announced the players. And Tim Gavel got a few things wrong:)
Firstly the signings:
Caitlin Munoz, Amy Chapman. Lydia Williams and Grace Gill are all Matildas and local players who
have signed up.
You would think if you play Premier League/ Reserve/Pathway football and ACTAS, Capital Football
Academy that you are very into your football and the development of the game and opportunities of
the game in Canberra.
Training and playing what 3 or 4 nights a week. That's commitment isn't it?

Central Coast Mariners defeated Belconnen tonight in front of a very healthy crowd. But the
A-League stars needed local Belconnen United boy Taylor Beaton to give them the win.Beaton who
plays his football with Belconnen was trialling with the Mariners and didn't he do well.

challenge for Matildas future.
Woden Valley have a massive celebration coming up Sunday 18 May. It's the launch
of their new Club house and Lawrie McKinna, Ahmad Elrich & Sasho Petrovski are coming to join in

Bush have been selected onto the Australian National Under 16 Team for the upcoming AFF U16
Championships, Jakarta Indonesia.
