Liverpool has confirmed that winger Nabil El Zhar has made a season-long loan move to Greek club PAOK.
The Morocco international had previously maintained that he wanted to leave the club owing to a lack of first-team football.
He was signed by former Reds boss Rafael Benitez in 2006, but has since struggled to make it into the first-team.

Several EPL coaches, officials, and footballers have recently praised the new homegrown rule that forces EPL clubs to only name 25 active footballers on their roster for the duration of the season with 8 being considered homegrown, but many fans and footballers alike have pointed out the obvious fact that the rule can be easily manipulated and that young English players are not always guaranteed a spot on the roster even with the new rule.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp apparently does not like being associated with the term "wheeler and dealer". The well respected coach, who has been known to buy and sell players more often then just about any other modern day manager, lashed out at Sky Sports reporter Rob Palmer a few weeks back when the journalist branded the EPL manager a wheeler and dealer before asking a question regarding the transfer window.

Here's my squad so far for the Barclay's Fantasy league. Pretty happy with my club at the moment but it still needs some tinkering. Berbatov has been my best pickup which I made after seeing him play the first week. Song was my most recent acquisition and got the unfortunate red on Saturday. I'm thinking next week I'll replace N'Zogbia or possibly Jagielka for Vidic.
