I ordered the Chateau Pape de Neuf and you give me the Montepulciano?
The UEFA wizards ban Arsene Wenger for three matches for the offense of having a verbal
altercation with referee Damir Skomina after the Milan Champions League match. Wenger is also fined
£33,000.
Skomina was the referee who allowed Robinho's goal to stand after receiving a pass from a
clearly offside Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
PSG is splashing some serious cash this transfer window. They are on the verge of signing
Alexandre Pato for €35 million from Milan for a three year deal. Leonardo is
also milking his popularity with Brazilian players to bring Kaka on board and is
offering €25 million for the services of the Real midfielder.
Tevez's 52 goals in 91 City appearances may again prove appealing to Mancini
Alexandre Pato put the spokes on a PSG move as he came out with a statement.
" Milan is my home. I did not want to interrupt my career with the Rossoneri after winning
my first two trophies with this shirt.
I love this clip. The frenzy associated with the Milan derby is captured perfectly. Part real
passion, part theatrics. Tiziano Crudeli is a legend in AC Milan circles. He was not happy with the
result obviously. And the female announcer is the cutest ever in that sea of testosterone.
AC Milan were the better attacking team and should have been deserving winners but the crossbar
came to Inter's rescue. Soccer is cruel. Javier Zanetti proving at the age of 38 years he has a
full tank of gas busts down the right and then diagonals all the way towards the direction of Diego
Milito.
Carlos Tevez's potential transfer to PSG has been compromised with the two parties not seeing
eye to eye on the way forward in his footballing career rather than any financial reasons. Tevez's
demands as per his agent, Kia Joorabchian, included:
1) Limiting Carlo Ancelotti on the number of training sessions he has per day and making
conditional his participation in them.
Woody Woodpecker: Milan's Stephan Al Shaarawy could take a peck at Arsenal
Champions League, 1st Leg: AC Milan vs Arsenal at the San Siro @ 2:45 EST
Three positions where the Gunners face unpredictability are at left back, attacking midfield,
and down the wings.
Left back: The most vexing decision is at left back where Wenger has Kieran
Gibbs available after months away with an injury.
I have yet to see Arsenal put up a more pathetic, inept, and disjointed display of football than
seen this evening at the San Siro. It was not just bereft of the rudiments of the sport, it was
shorn of the most basic of English virtues, of spirit, of spine. The 8-2 lambasting at the hands of
Utd one can take because we had so many players out through suspensions and injuries.
szólj hozzá: Milan 4-0 Arsenal - First Half
The first half: The first two stages of grief, denial and anger
predominate.
szólj hozzá: Milan 4-0 Arsenal Second Half
The second half: The next three stages unfold as bargaining, depression, and
then acceptance that Arsenal are just not good enough.
One of the biggest matches played this weekend between the two top teams. Milan is leading but
Juventus has a game in hand. Antonio Nocerino gave the Rossoneri the lead. It could have been worse
as Sulley Muntari's header clearly broke the line before Buffon gathered the ball but it was
declared offside.
The Spanish club now in the second division knocked the Champions League winners out of the
competition pouring in 4 unanswered goals in the second leg to overcome a 4-1 first leg deficit.
Coruna found four separate goalscorers as Walter Pandiani, Juan Carlos Valeron, Albert Luque, and
Fran Gonzalez dismantled an excellent Milan side.
Arsenal will have to channel the spirit of Spartacus at the Emirates today
Arsenal vs AC Milan at the Emirates, CL 2nd leg @ 2:45 PM EST
This month Arsenal are being celebrated as the comeback kings. In January they couldn't crumble
quickly enough. Arsene Wenger sees the victories against Spurs and Liverpool as evidence his side
that can pull rabbits out of a hat which is why he's so gung ho about the AC Milan second leg
despite being four goals down.

The CW was that Arsenal should just show up in the second leg against Milan and go through the
motions keeping their powder dry for the rest of the Premiership season. The potential for fatigue
and injury was a worrisome factor. That was the advice given by many and seconded by this blog.
The Old Lady enters the Coppa Italia final thanks to its old men and two transplants. Alessandro
Del Piero opened the scoring and former Roma legend Mirko Vucinic scored a beauty in the 96th
minute to achieve that winning aggregate. Through it all Andrea Pirlo in the role of a deep lying
play maker showed he still had the craft to hurt his former club.
The brain acts in parallel to improve speed of planning and execution, so does Barcelona
Today, four time Champions League winners and present holder, Barca play AC Milan, one of the
most stories clubs themselves in international competition with seven CL titles.
A mouthwatering feast that will pit Zlatan Ibrahimovic against his former club and Thiago, who
might be wearing the colours of the Blaugrana next season.
Barca did everything except score a goal. But credit Milan they turned in a defensive
performance they can be proud of.
Luca Antonini who is usually derided by Milanistas as a simple minded buffoon was their hero
coming up with a number of key blocks to deny Sanchez and Cristian Tello.
Barcelona and especially Lionel Messi did not wear their shooting boots today. And because of
that they kept AC Milan in the hunt despite their numerous scoring chances. As an example, an early
opening created by Cesc Fabregas's delectable flick left Messi one on one with Abbiati and he
shanked wide.
Andrea Maseillo, the former Bari defender and a central figure in Calciopoli2
As many of us have heard, Calciopoli 2 is vending its way through the Serie in warp speed. In
the eye of the storm, Andrea Massiello, the former central defender for Bari who has been arrested
on charges of match fixing.

This was a gripping match that turned on a number of hotly debated events. In between there was
plenty of good football to be found. At the end Inter ended the theatrics of who would be Serie
champions as Juventus did their part against Cagliari to earn the Old Lady their 28th Scudetto.
