There is a big laundry list of things new manager Mark Hughes needs to get QPR off and running.
The London side have scored just 19 goals, one more than Wigan's output, the worst in the
Premiership. Apart from the scoring woes, one of Hughes's biggest priorities will be to get Barton
to act like the senior citizen he should be at 29 years of age.

Back in November or so, MLS announced a change to the league's schedule that would do away with
home and away matchups against each team, and create an unbalanced schedule to deepen regional
rivalries and enhance intra-conference competition, saving a little transportation money along the
way.
With the stronger Western Conference teams playing each other more, the road to the playoffs
will be more difficult for every team.

After a difficult start to the season, the Los Angeles Galaxy added some defensive help on
Tuesday by acquiring Brazilian centerback David Junior Lopes from rival Chivas USA in exchange for
midfielder Paolo Cardozo.
Lopes has yet to make an appearance for Chivas USA this season, but the hulking Brazilian
centerback made eight apperances and seven starts for the Rojiblancos in 2011 after joining the
club midseason from Romanian club FC Universitatea Craiova.
It's been a bit of a slow week, and aside from the tragedy at the weekend and the news of
Guiseppe Rossi's new ACL injury, all is rather quiet on the Azzurri front.
