First some history....
Here is what the videographer posted on the ACES09 message board:
Hello fellow ACES supporters, just wanted to drop a note here because I've got a plan
set up to expose Seattle for all their B.S. (not bigsoccer, the other BS). My glorious club, the
Toronto FC is playing the Flounders in a few weeks.
Yesterday, I posted a list of eleven reasons why I believe Liverpool have struggled this season.
Today, it's time to look to forward positively and come up with a way out of the current mess. Yes,
things are bleak, but I do not think that the season is over. In fact, I actually think Liverpool
can still put in a title challenge, but only if certain changes are made and previous mistakes are
not repeated.
So much for Fortress Anfield! Even at this early stage, Liverpool's crushing home defeat to Aston
Villa is a devastating blow to the club's title ambitions. The problem? Rafa Benitez's
one-dimensional tactics and lack of an effective plan B. It's clear that if Liverpool are to
recover and mount a serious title, important changes need to be made NOW.
Gerrard out. Johnson out. Aurelio out. Torres half-fit. Several other players doubtful. Two defeats
in three CL games. Third in the CL group table. eight defeats since the start of the season.
Liverpool have no chance of beating Lyon on their own ground, right? WRONG.
Liverpool thrive on being underdogs and if history has proven one thing about the club it's this:
in times of adversity, and when everything looks hopeless, Liverpool can and will triumph.
That Sounders FC vs Chelsea friendly just got a little more interesting.
Received moments ago by email:
Dear Sirs,
Greetings from across the pond! I am a member of a Chelsea fan group that will be travelling to
America to follow our club on tour this summer.
Found on the Columbus's Crewture blog which writes in it's game preview:
"As an aside, congrats to Freddy Montero for his other success as he recently opened a new clothing
line."
"I hear it's for the trendy casual stalker."
Real rivalry starting or Is this just another ACES inspired dig at the Emerald City?
Here's a snippet from an email to MLS Rumors.
Looks like the Blues fans will be attending the Chelsea/Sounders FC friendly and they got some
stuff in store.

It's do or die now as the UEFA U21 enters its semi-final stage.
Germany tackle the Italians in Helsingborg while a tasty clash is on the menu in Gothenburg, where
a sell-out crowd is expected for Sweden v England.
A united Germany has yet to reach the finals while Italy have featured in five of the last nine u21
finals, winning four of them.
When does product placement look out of place? When does cross-promotion cross the line? Maybe when
players show up in Rave Green and "spokesmodels" blow similarly shaded vuvuzelas?? What do you
think? Is this MLS promotion genius or is the price wrong? Marketing miracle or madness? ACES we
already know what you think.
The ink has only just dried on the contract, but already the fall-out from the deal that will save
quite a few of the SPL clubs is starting to accumulate.
At a meeting held at Hampden yesterday afternoon, the 12 clubs that make up the SPL voted to accept
a combined ESPN/Sky TV deal worth £65m which will see the broadcasters show 60 games between now
and the end of the 2011/12 season.
Parkdale (above) plans Seattle Exposé Documentary.
A man by the name of "Parkdale", a prolific Toronto FC and Red Patch Boys videographer has decided
to get to the bottom of the "Rave Green" revolution by making a trip to the Emerald City August
29th for Toronto FC's only game in Seattle.
Not the most inspired signing but in this transfer starved summer we should be grateful for anyone
coming in to to boost our threadbare squad.
To be fair to Phillipe he is an experienced international who Champions League experience and a
spell at AC Milan under his belt. Plus in World Cup year we could squeeze that extra 10% out of him
as he battles for a place on the plane to South Africa.
Say what you want about this group. We find them odd and annoying but any group willing to fork out
money for you to hate on another team deserves a mention if for nothing else than to discuss why
this all is going down....
Their press release:
ACES Announces the ACES09 Supporters Cup
Cup Trophy and Monetary prize will be awarded to supporters of the MLS club performing
best against Sounders FC through the 2009 MLS Regular Season.
A list of the most paranoid and possibly cuckoo things I have heard or read this week that have me
wondering how long it will be until Scully & Mulder are arrested by security in the tunnel at
HDC:
- ACES, the most diabolical haters this side of the Playa Haters Ball, claim that the crowd noise
in Seattle may piped in.
Defeat against Man United on Sunday is unthinkable, and the decisions Rafa Benitez makes for that
game could literally make or break Liverpool's season. Despite the doom and gloom hovering over the
club at the moment, if Rafa keeps it simple and goes with aces in their places, I fully expect
Liverpool to beat United.
After Liverpool's home defeat to Aston Villa on August the 25th, I argued that several changes
needed to be made to the formation, the most important of which being Steven Gerrard moving to
central midfield. Given the team's run of defeats since that time, and the absence of Fernando
Torres, the need for playing 'aces in their places' is now more important than ever.
Wednesday sees Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid put their 100 per cent records in the
UEFA Champions League on the line.

Which sport has the best set of fans?
Football or rugby? Which are more passionate, more loyal, more knowledgeable and which generate
the more infectious atmospheres?
There is only one answer as far as I am concerned and it's not the group of egg-chasing
enthusiasts.
