Cheers to Colin for pointing this one out, but The Spoiler put up a post discussing Carlos
Tevez' love of first team football. Only the exact opposite.
When asked in an interview about his feelings regarding the plethora of strikers currently
employed by Citeh, the former United player stated, "When you are at a top club with top
players you understand that a big squad is needed and you won't play every game.
Yesterday I posted the latest press release from the LFCNY concerning their ongoing campaign
against Steven Cohen.
This morning I now find myself in the middle of a shit storm.
Here is the short version, or at least as short as I can make this.
If you read the LFNCY statement, you probably noticed the name Mark Sawyer, an Associate Professor
in the Department of Political Science at UCLA, who attempted to mediate and negotiate an end to
the LFCNY boycott of Steven Cohen.
At last, a way of proving Obafemi Martins is actually 47 years old! Players representing their
country at the forthcoming Under-17 World Cup will have their wrists scanned to make sure they are
not too old to compete. FIFA has introduced the MRI scans for the tournament, which begins on
Saturday, to end accusations that some [.

Seattle Sounders forward Nate Jaqua has been slapped with a civil lawsuit accusing him of
sexually assaulting a college student two years ago.
The $10 million lawsuit was filed on Tuesday, almost two years to the day when the accuser says
Jaqua raped her in a cemetary.
Ignoring for a moment that complete cash-grab that this is, do you suppose they realize Michael
Jackson was a slightly controversial figure? No one's denying his musical genius, but the man also
had a tendency to rub people the wrong way - those people typically being little boys, should you
believe the pedophilia accusations.
During a pre-Stoke press conference, Liverpool Manager Rafa Benitez kinda, sorta lost his mind
and went on a rant regarding Manchester United and, more specifically, Sir Alex Ferguson. The
incensed Spaniard filed a laundry list of complaints against the Scot, alleging that Ferguson was
the only manager in England that is never punished for his on-field actions.
Most Italian soccer fans should be familiar with the name of Andrea Russotto. As a youngster he
was dubbed as "the next Roberto Baggio" and "Antonio Cassano with a level head"
but up until now he has not even been close to living up to those names. His story is a bit
particular, and for those of you that don't know it here it is.
Let's take a moment to interrupt ill-placed accusations of bigotry to answer a question.
As US fans, who do you most want to face in the first round? Of course, we'd all love to end up in
South Africa's group because that would represent the easiest route to the knockout round, but odds
are that we'll end up elsewhere.
Any concerns that we may be entering next season with our talismanic captain, as a result of a
suspension from the spitting row with Hull, have finally been ended with confirmation that there
was no evidence in the first place. That it has taken the FA a little over two months to determine
that, when we all knew within hours, is baffling yet somehow exceptionally unsurprising.
Nigeria cracks down on over-age players The Nigeria Football Federation has announced it will be
checking out its players bones to catch cheats. Nope, it's not dubious dressing room shower
activities but MRI scans to find over-age players trying to gatecrash the Under-17 World Cup.
Nigeria's youth squads have long faced accusations of fielding ineligible players in [.
Emmanuel Adebayor's imminent move to Manchester City will do the striker's reputation no favours
among Arsenal fans. However accusations of a lack of effort could not be more superficial.
______________________________________________________________________________
Emmanuel Adebayor is set to become the latest high profile forward to join the Manchester City
steam train after Robinho, Roque Santa Cruz and Carlos Tevez.
Gareth Barry has rejected accusations from Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez, who suggested the
England midfielder's move to Manchester City was motivated by money.
Barry left Aston Villa to join City in a £12 million switch at the start of last month after
snubbing long-standing interest from Liverpool.
In the first leg of a 2005 second round match against Barca, the referee Andres Frisk sent off
Drogba, which prompted Jose Mourinho's furious accusations of yet another bizarre conspiracy theory
that the referee had met up with then coach Frank Rijkaard before the match.
The Swedish referee was forced to retire after he and his family received death threats.
Ready For Sunday then?
So, how's your nerves? Sky Sports News have today been running an article about stress relief
for fans for Sunday. Tips included having a hot bath, avoiding alcohol and meditating to stay
relaxed in the build up to the final round of matches in the Premiership. Which will be no help to
any of the fans who's nerves are probably already shredded about Sunday.
That glorious Champions League final in Rome proved two things... firstly, that
the better team did win and secondly, it unveiled Ronaldo's true colors. Blaming someone else for
your team's failure is no trade of a real sportsman and the easiest thing one can do in a situation
like that is to shut the door and leave.
Stuff to read while you witness some Cesc accusations with accompanying photo.... There have been
some strange, and possibly unsanctioned, changes to the FIFA rankings. (The Beautiful Game) Paris
Hilton calls Cristiano Ronaldo a sissy, world doesn't bat an eye. (Dirty Tackle) Tough times for
Italian football.
Cruzeiro's 3-1 win over Gremio on Wednesday was marred by controversial
circumstances surrounding Maxi Lopez's alleged "choice words" at their midfielder
Elicarlos.
"Their striker Maxi Lopez called me a macaco (monkey)," Elicarlos
declared after the game, adding that the matter would be reported to the police.
FIFA's transfer ban imposed on Chelsea has, as expected, opened up a can of worms regarding the
tapping up of players.Chelsea were banned last week from registering any new players until 2011 for
improper conduct when they signed Gael Kakuta from French club Lens in 2007.And already accusations
have been lodged at United over the signing of Paul Pogba.
Newsworthy items have been sparse as the Dynamo take a brief but well-deserved hiatus. There was
a nice announcement that Houston's Reliant Stadium will host the 2010 MLS All Star game. This marks
the official start to the rumors of which European powerhouse will grace us with their royal
presence.
I was surfing around when I came across this article.. Sol has had several accusations of being gay
in the past. His brother went to jail for beating a guy up to protect his brother's name. Sol
definitely doesn't mind being called gay. He goes on with his life. At times, he makes it clear
with pictures [.
If you're a professional soccer player, you don't want allegations of boozing, prostituting and
sneaking back into hotels associated with you.
Fortunately for Peruvian forward Claudio Pizzaro, he was cleared of such accusations stemming for a
couple years ago.
I guess there wasn't enough evidence in the case.
‘Learning from Mistakes' was an article headline from last night's match programme, though
it is hard to see what aspects of the football club, if any, this is being applied to at
present.
It certainly does not apply to the football aspect, with Saturday and last night's capitulations
the 12th and 13th time we have surrendered a lead this season.
This hasn't been the best day for Frank Lampard.
The Chelsea star is mourning the one year anniversary of his mother's death while also coping
with a messy break-up with the mother of his two young daughters. The combination of the two proved
too much to bear as Lampard responded to one radio deejay's accusations that Lampard is a bad
father for alledgedly not providing for his children.
Remember when we came back to beat Hull in the FA Cup quarterfinal? And Hull boss/tanning bed
enthusiast accused Cesc Fabregas of spitting at a Hull coach after the game? First he claimed that
it happened on the pitch, and that his assistant had told him what happened. Then, when he realized
that there was video of the pitch after the game, and loads of still photographers taking pictures,
none of which showed anything approaching Cesc spitting at someone, he changed his story and said
that it had actually happened in the tunnel after the game, and he had seen it itself.
by CARL ELDRIDGE Celtic put to the sword in emphatic style but Eduardo's dive for a penalty is the
centre of the papers' attention this morning. And when dear old AW admits it was never a pen it is
one of those days when we have to take the stick on the Crazilian's behalf as the spotlight is
moved away from what was a routine victory with some slick play to accusations of cheating.
It seems with football at the moment there is an unhealthy obsession with youth, quick exciting
and potential filled youth. If the media articles and fan opinion circling the internet is to
believed then only players under the age of 25 are capable of delivering a team success. Perhaps
professional footballers should start looking nervously towards retirement or a diminished role
within their team once they reach 26, maybe their only hope is to accept the Stannah Stairlift of
professional football and take on the role of an impact substitute.
I found myself pondering Arsene Wenger's accusations of Sir Alex and United employing
"Anti-Football". I've always been bemused by that term. Here are my (somewhat wandering) thoughts
on the matter.
What is this "Anti-Football"? Is it the opposite of the legendary Dutch concept of Total
Football?
"The manager (Mark Hughes) is very quiet, he does his own thing and I spoke with him a
few times through the summer about what was going on. He was of the opinion that City needed two
players for every position and that was the way the squad was going to work.
'The last time I spoke to him was in Africa after I had found out some other stuff.

This is a story about an honest, fair-minded, and well-meaning football club, and how they were
pushed to the limit by a group of thugs, cheats, and bullies. It's an old story. It's a story that
happens all over the world whenever a kid who's good at computers is forced to eat leaves by a kid
who isn't good at computers; whenever a gleaming professional wrestling champion climbs into the
center of the ring for a spontaneous awards ceremony only to be taken down by a folding chair from
behind.
Manchester United have been given the all clear in their bid to sign 16 year old Paul Pogba from
French club Le Havre.
Le Havre reported United to FIFA claiming that they had agreed a contract with the midfielder
which was due to come into effect at the start of the 09/10 campaign.
Le Havre also dragged United's good name through the mud, slinging accusations of bribery our
way, however, no report was made to FIFA over these allegations; presumably because the allegations
were unfounded.
A low blow Swindon Town defender Kevin Amankwaah has apologised to Millwall striker Neil Harris
over a jibe about his battle with cancer. The 27-year-old initially denied accusations that he had
brought up cancer during an on-pitch slanging match with Harris, but has now issue an apology. He
said: "While I feel I was the subject of some [.
I was listening to the pod-cast of BBC's 606 football phone-in from after Wednesday's
internationals earlier, but naturally, Alan Shearer's appointment as temporary boss of Newcastle
was getting its fair share of discussion, aided by the fact that the man himself called up for a
chat. I was shocked to hear some of the accusations [.
Shocking, I know.
The FA came out and formally charged Cesc with improper conduct following Phil Brown's made-up
spitting accusations. Look, not to go all Rafa on you, here, but here goes...
FACT: In the same interview where he accused Cesc of spitting, Phil Brown said:
"He [Arsene Wenger] wouldn't shake my hand when we beat them fairly 2-1 at the Emirates.
The following article is re-posted with permission from the Manchester United forum,
Republik of Mancunia:
The following is an analysis of all premiership premiership and champions league champions
league games played by Manchester United and Liverpool this season. Liverpool are sure that United
are top the table by manipulating the referees.
As many of us had suspected would be the case, the FA have found there was not enough evidence to
come anywhere near to proving that Cesc had done anything wrong after our FA Cup victory over Hull.
Really it is a disgrace that charges were even considered given the contradictory nature of Hull´s
accusations.
Carlos Tevez accused his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson of forcing him to leave
Old Trafford. The Argentine revealed all details regarding his departure and he stated he had had
no other choice but to leave. We are yet to see how Sir Alex will react to these claims.
Carlos Tevez launched a scathing attack on his former boss Alex Ferguson and he
stated he had been forced to leave the club.

The second tier of English football, The Championship, kicks off this week and in this post we
take a look at which teams we think will be involved in the promotion race or the relegation
battle.
OK, so watch carefully as an inept linesman fails to rule out Goran Pandev's goals as way way
offside, I mean criminally offside, very dubious. Clearly riled by this injustice fight back from
two goals down. Fernando Torres puts away a header early in the second half and former Man United
man Gerard Pique scores after good work from Arsenal magician Cesc Fabregas.
