Chesterfield reclaimed top spot in the League Two table by beating Torquay United as previous
leaders Port Vale lost at lowly Morecambe.
Bury also slipped to defeat away to Wycombe Wanderers, while Barnet recorded an important
victory at the bottom end of the table.

Boxing Day football is a British tradition. Whereas most of the big European leagues let their
players have the entire Christmas weekend off, the English, Scottish and Welsh leagues go right
