According to John Arne Riise, new Liverpool signing Alberto Aquilani carries a greater goal threat
than the recently departed Xabi Alonso. Whilst that would clearly be fantastic for the team, is it
actually true?
In an interview, Riise stated:
"He's [Aquilani] is really good on the ball, with good passing, good movement, he works hard and is
a good professional".
According to John Cross and Football Spy at the Daily Mirror, Everton are
interested in Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos as it appears
that Joleon Lescott might be on the way out.
UPDATE: According to Everton's official website, Everton are
in talks with Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos. Everton
chairman Bill Kenwright said,
"We have been negotiating with Arsenal for the transfer of Philippe .
According to the Hull Daily Mail, Hull City boss Phil Brown
hopes striker Alvaro Negredo will be at their game tomorrow to watch and hopefully
begin talks. He said,
"We're hoping that he'll be at the game tomorrow night ... I can't make a comment on
speculation from Spain, we haven't heard anything .
