As promised, here is the newest edition of Access United, with a bunch of great clips from
today's press conference and some thoughts from Marc Burch, Zach Wells, Devon McTavish and Coach
Soehn. If you didn't know that VW was a German brand (and, really, how could you not?), there won't
be any question about it when you hear Stefan Jacoby - VW's President and CEO of Volkswagen Group
of America - talk about the new partnership.
Here's the latest edition of Access United, which features sideline footage and post-game
comments from United's 2-0 win over the visiting Kansas City Wizards. More Access United on our

the players and Coach Soehn had to say afterwards you can below with the most recent edition of
Access United... more behind-the-scenes video on our YouTube page.
Do you fully understand the importance of next week's semifinal game against the New England
Revolution in the Open Cup? I'm not sure that you do. United is one win away from playing for its
12th championship. The only thing standing in the way of another title shot is the New England
Revolution.

following the team's 4-1 dismantling of Toronto. You can see all past editions of Access United

shots from Saturday night's game. There's a couple of great ones - see them here!
As the team looks to its game tomorrow night against the Chicago Fire in the U.S. Open Cup
quarterfinals, here's a look at last week's 2-0 win over the Rochester Rhinos. Lots more video on
our YouTube page.
Wooo. After a whole 3 days without a game, DC United is back in action in RFK against Chivas de
Guadalajara. Let me say this, as an avid follower of the USMNT, having seen quite a few US v Mexico
tussles, I can say that I'm not a big fan of Mexican football [...]
United earned an impressive 2-1 come-from-behind overtime victory over the Chicago Fire last
Tuesday at the Maryland SoccerPlex. If you weren't one of the 4,118 people there, this is the place
for highlights and post-game comments. More Access United on our YouTube page.
... with comments from Devon McTavish, Luciano Emilio, Fred, Tom Soehn and more.
After a three-day weekend the team is back at it today, preparing for its match against the
Kansas City Wizards on Saturday (got your tickets yet?). If you haven't yet seen it, here is the
Access United recap following last Wednesday's very strange loss to the Dynamo. There's some great
footage of the rain coming down.

Here's a ton of sideline video and post-game interviews following United's 3-0 walloping of the
Rapids. More Access United right..... here.

Go behind the scnes of last Thursday's huge come-from-behind win over the visiting
Revolution...

We're just a couple hours from kickoff. Access United sat down with a few players and Coach
Soehn yesterday to get their thoughts on tonight's game..
Here's this week's Access United. I think I'll start putting these on here, because they're pretty
good, and not all teams have this kind of thing. So enjoy.
In case it wasn't clear from the ad to the right, United's most dislikable rival comes to RFK Stadium this Saturday. The guys will look to extend its three-game unbeaten streak against the Red Bulls, who are coming off a 1-0 win over Chivas USA last Thursday. United has a chance to leapfrog New York in the standings, who sit just two points ahead of the Black-and-Red.
D.C. United beat San Jose 3-1 last Sunday. Access United is neat.
Access United sat down with Tom Soehn, Devon McTavish, Santino Quaranta and Jaime Moreno in
advance of Sunday's game with LA.
Hilarity ensues when United players pick up golf clubs. Though the piece below is kind of funny,
you should really think about joining us next year. It's a fantastic even and really one of the
best opportunities to get up close and personal with United's players. Plus, it raises money for
the club's non-profit arm - $55,000 this year!
Not that anyone really wants to relive this game, but here's the newest Access United with
post-game video from the sidelines and interviews with Tom Soehn, Zach Wells, Luciano Emilio and
Jaime Moreno. Keep in mind that when this was shot, most of the players thought it unlikely that
the team could advance into the semis with an 0-2 record.
As the team preps to face the Dynamo tonight - for the second time in four days - here's a look
back at Saturday's 3-1 loss to Houston. More Access United on the YouTubes.
And now, a ton of post-game comments following last night's win over the Revolution and some
additional highlights from the game (and really, I don't get sick of watching our goals). A ton of
other video can be found on our YouTubes page.
Did we mention we'll be hosting the Charleston Battery in the Open Cup final on Wednesday,
September 3?
Here it is, but let's not dwell on it, eh? The big game is tomorrow night.

Both fortunately and unfortunately, I was out of town for Saturday night's game against Chivas
USA. A tough, tough loss at a time in the season when every single point matters. Here's the
post-game recap with quotes from players and Head Coach Tom Soehn.
