Seedorf's wonderful solo effort on 75 minutes was enough for Milan to claim all three points at
home against Bologna. It was not the most inspiring match nor will it fill Rossoneri hearts with
hope for the season, however, it was a strong enough performance by the Leonardo's side to pick up
a vital win.
A win is a win. Three points is three points. But, while we played well in the first half, in fact,
it was probably one of our best halves played this season, I am troubled by our inability to finish
off matches. In the end, we were just plain lucky that Lazio did not equalise [...]
Milan's woes continued after they failed once again to win against a determined Galletti. Marco
Storari was man of the match for Milan making a string of world class saves to deny Bari. For
Milan, Ronaldinho was again disappointing as was Huntelaar as the side again looked devoid of
ideas. The pressure is really mounting [.
Zurich recorded a famous victory as they held on for a slender victory at the San Siro. Milan
wasted a host of chances as they failed to find the net yet again. Tihinen's early opener stunned
the homeside who had dominated possession in the early stages. The loss will sure spark huge debate
about Milan's [.
Milan scraped a draw away to Atalanta following another disappointing performance. Ronaldinho was
the hero for Milan with his equaliser in the 83rd minute. However, with Atalanta playing with ten
men following Radanovic's sending off just before half time, Milan should have claimed three
points. The Rossoneri will have to content themselves with a draw and [.
Milan have picked up a vital victory at home to Roma with two strikes from our Brazilian duo of
Pato and Ronaldinho. Milan fell behind after a horrendous mistake from Thiago Silva put Jeremy
Menez through on goal just minutes into the game. After a poor first half, Milan struck back in the
second half [.
Once again Milan prove they are masters of European football. Dida's calamitous mistake handed Raul
and Real the initiative in the 19th minute but just slightly pass the hour mark Pirlo levelled
proceedings with an exquisite long range shot. Pato then netted the second when the Real defence
failed to deal with Ambrosini's long punt.
A late brace by the most unlikely Alessandro Nesta assured Milan all three points in a highly
entertaining affair in Verona. Chievo took an early lead through Giampero Pinzi just seven minutes
into the match and despite Milan pushing hard in response for the equaliser, it took until the 81st
minute for Milan to restore [.
Milan continued their good form earning another win in what was a very professional display from
Leo's boys. It was Ronaldinho who again was the creative spark creating both goals for Marco
Borriello. The win capped of a fine month which saw our club climb up the table from 12th position
to 4th, just six [.
In the end it was a draw and a result that was probably fair for both sides. For sure Real had
numerous more attempts on goal but most of these were long range efforts that barely troubled the
somewhat sporadic Dida. And, for sure Real dominated possession especially in the first half yet
for all [..
We roll on with yet another win and it is now all but safe to say that the team is well and truly
over its early season troubles. Our attacking play was great and even magic at times. But our
defence was terrible highlighting just how important Nesta is to our side. Our attacking quartet of
[...]
What a fantastic victory! The result was a tremendous one but what is even more impressive than the
result is the performance of the team and the players. The team play was nothing short of
exceptional, especially in the first half hour, and there is not one individual performance that
warrants any great criticism.
In a rain drenched evening in Marseille, Milan once again showed their European pedigree by
claiming a vital win to start their 2009-10 Champions League campaign. And once again it was
SuperPippo who proved the difference for Milan with the ever-green veteran striker claiming a
brace. Leo's decision to bench Ronaldinho with Seedorf playing in [.
In a game of two halves a less than impressive Milan limped home with a point. Leonardo does not
seem to have it right yet, however, considering the players at his disposal can we really blame
Leo? Milan looked slow and sluggish tonight and even though the team's performance improved in the
second half, Milan [.
Seedorf's wonderful solo effort on 75 minutes was enough for Milan to claim all three points at
home against Bologna. It was not the most inspiring match nor will it fill Rossoneri hearts with
hope for the season, however, it was a strong performance by the Leonardo's side. First half
Leonardo made some unexpected changes to the [.
Antonio Di Natale strike in the 21st minute of the game was enough to see Udinese take all three
points and send Milan home without a point. Despite dominating possession, Milan were unable to
break down the Udinese defence. The introduction of Ronaldinho in the second half made Milan are
more attacking threat however it [.
Milan surprised everyone as they started the match in blitzing form. No doubt, they were full of
confidence and self-belief after having claimed three wins from three in the last week. Seedorf put
Inzaghi through for the opener before Inzaghi's flick on put Pato through one on one with De
Sanctis and the Milan number [.
Despite an encouraging start which saw Marco Borriello score an impressive opener, we can consider
ourselves very lucky to have earned a point from what was a hugely disappointing display. At home,
with qualification in sight and on the back of some good results, a win at home to Marseille was
appropriately expected.
In what was a boring and dull match, one that reminded us of the Milan side that we had earlier in
the season, it came as a great relief that our marquee' signing of the summer, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar,
finally got the break through that he has needed, opening his account for the club with two [...]
Heading into the match against the Swiss and the task was to win in order to ensure qualification.
To say that we got the job done is a stretch, if only a small one, for we drew instead of winning.
Even though it would have taken almost a miracle for Marseille to beat Real by [...]
In the preview to this match I mentioned the fact that with all good runs, the end inevitably
arrives at some point. Yesterday in the match at home to Palermo, the end did arrive as we were
deservingly beaten at home to an impressive Palermo outfit. Miccoli in particular was outstanding
but so was Bresciano [.
