In the midst of the ongoing Moreno saga, a bit of "good news" came out of the Revolution camp today as the club have announced the signing of French striker Saër Sène from Bayern Munich on a free transfer. The player had recently been in camp with the Revolution in Arizona, and after watching him both on and off the field, Revolution GM Michael Burns commented "We believe he'll play a valuable role for us this season.

Below are my weekly power rankings for the top (8) clubs teams in UEFA. These rankings are a combination of their play in domestic and UEFA competitions.

Real Madrid continue to be in the top spot while there's little change in the rest of the power rankings.

Standing in the middle of the street is never a good idea -- especially when you're a reporter holding a microphone in the path of footballers trying to flee the training ground. One reporter outside of Milan's Milanello complex apparently thought that not only standing in the middle of the street, but sticking her microphone out to moving cars would be a great way to get an interview.

On Saturday morning, I saw the list of potential managers for the England National Team now that it finds itself without a coach. The Euro 2012 is not too far away now, and the eyes of the world are on England, waiting to see who will take the helm amidst the international controversy. I couldn't help but wonder that Arsene's name was on the list, so I had to do a bit of digging to determine the probability of his being selected for the coveted job.

Good news for Coach Allegri and Milan fans as Alessandro Nesta, Kevin Prince Boateng and Alexa Pato all resumed training today ahead of their Champions League first leg knockout match against Arsenal on Wednesday.

With both teams coming off late winners in their weekend league fixtures, it will be interesting to see how they both approach the game.

There isn't much to analyze in such a game. Or you could say there is so much to analyze that one could write a book.

This wasn't a great Milan side but it was tactically and technically far superior to Arsenal. It isn't often that one sees a game where the opponent deserves a 4-0 win over Arsenal but in this one there could be few grudges, even if one of the goals was off-side (which I am not sure of anyway).

Milan was the venue for Arsenal's travelling support as they went to Italy to cheer the boys on against a genuine European giant in AC Milan. Unfortunately, some of the travelling hoard managed to take things a little too far, and there were nasty scenes before the game between fans and police, after which one Arsenal fan was arrested.

Emotionally we've gone from disappointed and disillusioned to euphoric over the result of one game. Beating Blackburn 7-1 was the sort of result we needed to awaken our supporters.

Arsenal played the sort of football that we all love to watch and for once the end result substantiated the level of our overall performance.

Slowly some of those long standing absences are working their way back into the Arsenal squad and not a moment too soon. The latest update has Kieran Gibbs ready and available for next week's Arsenal Champions League first leg against AC Milan if Wenger so desires. Thomas Vermaelen stuck at left back might finally get some relief and relocate to his more familiar centre back role with Laurent Koscielny.

There is plenty of high-profile soccer going on around the world this Wednesday, but perhaps no games carry as much significance as the two African Cup of Nations semifinals. AC Milan's former Tottenham playmaker Kevin Prince Boateng has dismissed the credentials of Arsenal ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash at the San Siro, labeling the Gunners as inconsistent and inexperienced.

Boateng, 24, has been one of Milan's standout players this season and even though the Italian champions have also shown signs of struggle of late, the Ghana international believes that they have the experience that Arsenal desperately need.
