AC Milan & Los Angeles Galaxy Agree Loan Deal For David Beckham
Los Angeles Galaxy and England midfielder David Beckham will return to AC Milan for a second
loan spell in January, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Stranger things have happened.
When his self-imposed US exile expires, David Beckham is likely to rejoin AC Milan: he recently
reasoned that the move would be born out of "patriotism" and passionate for his country", perhaps
not realising that Milan isn't in England.
However, a transfer back to the Premiership is still a possibility, and the latest club to be
thrown into the fray are Blackburn.
Remember when I talked about the MLS strategy to win over its three target demographics? Yeah, Sean
Michelle reported in the Columbus Dispatch today that the strategy is working:
Tailgaiting outside of Crew Stadium, Matt Beaven resembled a typical American soccer
dad as he rounded up his kids an hour before a recent match.
Georgia captain Kakha Kaladze has apologised to teammates and supporters following a brace of own
goals in his country's World Cup qualify at home to Italy. Kaladze, who plies his trade in Italy
with AC Milan, stuck the ball past his own 'keeper twice in the second half to gift an unimpressive
Italian team a 2-0 [.

Estamos en esto de las complacencias y revisando el buzón me piden que les ponga el Calendario de

Por supuesto que si, debemos de ver el fútbol de la mejor calidad y este 2009 y 2010 habrá mucho
fútbol internacional.
Well so much for posting fewer Top 25 lists! Turns out so many things happened this weekend, most
of them flying in the face of our predictions, that we felt an update was in order. Here it is:
1. Real Madrid
Last ranking: 1
Record (wins-losses-ties, in all competition; two-leg match-ups count as one): 1-0-0

According to Sport.es the Los Angeles Galaxy are interested in finding a replacement
for David Beckham if he does what is expected and leaves the team for AC Milan. The Galaxy in their
quest to have a high profile player on their roster to attract fan support are looking at both FC
Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez and forward Thierry Henry.
Everybody knows that the fierce rivals from Milano have been sharing the same
stadium in the past few decades, which is one of the reason for the low revenues of both
clubs. In the last few days Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani and Inter president Massimo
Moratti have gone public about their plans for the San Siro/Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
So, David Beckham flew all the way from Los Angeles to London so he could sit on the bench for
the friendly against Slovakia and play 10 minutes of garbage time once England had a four goal lead
against Croatia. He got a great view of how Shaun Wright Phillips did well against Slovakia and
how Aaron Lennon completely tore up Croatia.
For AC Milan in Saturday's fabled Derby della Madonnina, Gennaro Gattuso's nightmare
came true. If not for Inter's new-look, new-effect attack, poor Captain Rino would be carrying all
responsibility for the unbalanced result (AC Milan 0:4 Inter).
Inter earned three (and perhaps all four) of their strikes, yet more could not have gone wrong
in one half of play for the feisty AC Milan defensive midfielder as he returns from long-term
injury to snatch back his position from the interloping Galaxy star, a certain D Beckham.
Photographs of Germany's football kit for the 2010 World Cup have been leaked.
As is always the case with Germany, Adidas have designed a beautiful jersey for the German
national team to wear when they play in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The new Germany World Cup jersey is white with a black trim.
During the summer transfer window the former Manchester United man was linked with a potential
move to Tottenham and even Arsenal and Chelsea were mentioned as potential avenues of employment,
but who would welcome the 34 year old to their club?
England midfielder David Beckham has suggested that he could make a return to the
Premier League.
Homeless World Cup Trophy
The US entered the 2009 Homeless World Cup ranked 32nd in the world and after finishing 29th in
the 2008 Homeless World Cup in Melbourne the team was looking to impress this year in Milan.
The first three days of the tournament were dedicated to preliminary pool play.
This weeks ‘Wag of the Week' is Sthefany Brito. Those of you who follow Brazilian soap
operas or the personal lives of Serie A players will know this young lady is the new wife of AC
Milan striker Alexandre Pato...

What?
Thomas Bendtner, the agent and father of Arsenal striker Nicklas, has claimed his son
turned down the chance to move to several clubs this summer to remain in north London.
The Dane signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners this week, securing his future at the
Emirates Stadium.
One of the major complains that many have against the MLS is that it is a developmental league.
No American dreams of playing for the San Jose Earthquakes or the Kansas City Wizards – they
imagine themselves playing in Italy, Spain or England. The best MLS players are always eyeing their
European opportunities.
As anticipation grew, the media focused on whether or not Jose Mourinho could overcome a Milan
side...

It's always encouraging when you field a bad team and win on the road. It took some luck —
Cornell Glenn hitting the crossbar, Ricardo Clark turning into Steven Gerrard for a split second
— but the United States beating Trinidad and Tobago 1-0, is a result the Americans probably had
to get.
But let me reiterate, this team Bob Bradley selected was bad.

Which team will win the 2010 Champions League?
Emmanuel Adebayor evokes some interesting emotions wherever he goes. From his goal-scoring
exploits for Arsenal to back-to-back interviews where he pledged allegiance to Arsenal before
flirting with Barcelona, to his quite obvious Milan fantasy to his bumper contract at Arsenal to a
move to Manchester the next summer, Adebayor had already entertained and infuriated Arsenal
fans.
The UEFA Champions League began its group stage on Tuesday with many of the favorites in action
such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich. There were not many upsets as
most of the favorites won their matches. Here's a recap of all the matches along with video
highlights for Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
It's a quick update for the Tuesday games, with no Americans seeing the field in three games.
Oguchi Onyewu wasn't in the squad for Milan's Champions League opener, a 2-1 win at Olympique
Marseilles's Stade Velodrome. Filippo Inzaghi had both goals for Milan. In the Championship, Frank
Simek was on the bench for Sheffield Wednesday's 3-1 home loss to Middlesbrough.
After winning his first Champions League game with his new home team of AC Milan last night, he
felt like he was on top of the world. And after winning the game 5-2 against FC Zurich he is now
certain that his trade to Milan was the best move he's ever made in his life. The team fans have
embraced their new star as well as all of the other dream players.
Barca tied with Inter 0-0, at the Giuseppe Meazza in Milan. Inter's defense was superb. Did
Messi get frustrated?
There is no doubt that Italian teams in recent times have really struggled in Europe. That is, with
the exception of Milan. Despite all the troubles with the side, despite the significant
strengthening of both Inter and Juventus over the European summer, it was Milan who once again
carried the flag for Italian football in [.
In this week's quiz we test your knowledge about all things Italian football. The answers to the
quiz will appear tomorrow.
1. An easy one to start with. Which club has won most Serie A titles?
2. When was the last time AC Milan won the scudetto (Serie A title)?
It is a good thing that I am not a CLB fan right now. In the 41st minute of this CCL match, play is
getting chippy as hell and C.A. just scored a second goal a few minutes after one of those
stretches when the commentators say, "Uh, the ref really needs to get control of this game soon or
someone is going to get hurt.
It is one of the more quiet Sundays in recent memory in the soccer world, but even on a slow day
there are plenty of matches to watch.
The Under-20 World Cup is in full swing, while leagues from Italy to France round out their
weekend's schedules. Americans Abroad are in action as well, with Oguchi Onyewu hoping to get some
first-team league action with AC Milan and Carlos Bocanegra looking to help Rennes stop mighty
Bordeaux.
by GIANFRANCO PANIZO
While there were few positives to draw from the U.S. U-20 national team's World Cup opener,
there were reasons for optimism from some of the Americans Abroad this weekend.
Tim Howard once again provided Everton with a solid performance, making three saves en route to
a 1-0 win over Portsmouth.
Will there be a flurry of transfer activity on deadline day at Arsenal?
Philippe Senderos has left it late to find a new club and the rumours are that either Portsmouth
or Hull City will make a move for the Swiss international. This is a mighty drop after playing
for AC Milan and Arsenal, but with no other takers and Senderos being sixth choice after Gallas,
Vermaelen, Djourou, Silvestre and Song, it is best if the Swiss stopper moves to a team that will
give him regular football.
Sneijder was evidently in The Zone back in his Ajax days. By comparison, his best-of reel from
Real Madrid are closer in and more on the cheeky side. Yet this is an index of the quality in store
for Internazionale.
At Inter now, Mourinho was looking for a trequartista, but Sneijder brings also a
discerning nose for goal.
Muammar Gaddafi meets with Silvio Berlusconi
As rumours go, this is still one hell of a doozy. Muammar Gaddafi who looks uncannily like Keith
Richards or Geoffrey Rush or an amalgam of the two is believed to be in negotiations to buy out AC
Milan from Silvio Berlusconi.
La Repubblica, the publication that wrote this article is well known for its opposition to
Berlusconi as it espouses a decidedly left wing perspective.
Even non-news is news to the Dutch fans, isn't it :-) ? Anyway, a nice little titbit. In the game
against Japan, Van Marwijk used eleven players who all come from different clubs! Normally, it was
a bunch of Ajax blokes, paired with some Feyenoord lads. We've seen the AC Milan trio, the Barca
Can This Man Own Milan?
For Milan fans, the news was bad enough that they had been trounced by rival Inter while being
watched by their owner and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. However, a rumor circulating
that Berlusconi has been in negotiations to sell the club to Libyan leader Muammar al-Gadaffi adds
to the confusion about whether the team is a serious threat to the scudetto and Champions
League.
