Wenger: Contract Talks With RVP Will Begin at Season's End

Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the Gunner will offer a new deal to club captain Robin van Persie when the 2011/12 Barclays Premier League season ends. Moreover, he declared that even if transfer talks with the Dutchman fail, they will not try to sell him in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal will tour the Far East taking in Seoul, Beijing and Hong Kong in the summer, it can be revealed.

Gunners chiefs are in talks with Far East parties to finalise the jaunt having already sealed a deal to play a friendly match in Nigeria.

With exposing the brand to global markets key to Arsenal's business strategy, gone are the days when Arsène Wenger could take the squad to Austria to take the Alpine air and prepare for the season ahead.

Arsene Wenger has ratified Arsenal's summer tour of Nigeria. The under-fire Gunners manager gave his blessing to the ground-breaking trip and pen was put to paper at the Emirates on Sunday as the club hosted a delegation from the African organisers of the tour.

Arsenal officials met Nigeria Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the planned visit which will be the club's first ever visit to Africa.

The stage is set for the 28th edition of the African Cup Of Nations that begins tomorrow in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon with two Group A fixtures between the hosts Equatorial Guinea and Libya in the early kick off and the eagerly awaited Senegal v Zambia clash in the late kick off.
