World Cup with a convincing 3-0 semi-final defeat of Asian counterparts Seongnam Ilhwa here on
Wednesday. Argentine striker Diego Milito made one goal and scored another on his return from a

The Club World Cup reaches its climax and will have a fresh feel to it. The image of Barcelona
is changed and Sepp Blatter makes the headlines for the wrong reason.
Although Rafa Benitez's Inter has qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League in
the same position that Mourinho's did a season ago, things look very different for the Spaniard.
This is after their 3-0 loss away against Werder Bremen, and Benitez's team played poorly. With
this latest loss, Benitez has racked up seven defeats in all competitions, which is the amount of
losses Jose Mourinho had all of last season.
CONCACAF club champions Pachuca are making final preparations in Abu Dhabi for their opening match
in the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup against African club champions TP Mazembe on Saturday. Of the 23
players named in the final roster, three of them are American players -- Marco Vidal, Hérculez
Gómez, and Francisco Torres.

Pachuca won their 5th-place game in the FIFA Club World Cup on Wednesday, beating Al Wahda on
penalties. Jose Francisco Torres and Herculez Gomez started for Pachuca at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium
in Abu Dhabi, with Torres going the distance and Gomez subbing out in the 61st minute. Al Wahda
took the lead in the 43rd minute and doubled it in the 76th five minutes after going down a man.

FIFA honcho Sepp Blatter has backed the calls of UEFA president Michel
Platini and Germany's ExCo representative Franz Beckenbauer, who have
both suggested that the 2022 Qatar World Cup should be held during the winter in a bid to combat
the Arabian country's searing 50°c summer heat.
One of the major concerns, if not the major concern, of the World Cup in Qatar has been that
pesky issue of its location a very, very warm location. The summers are scorching and though their
big promise to world football was air conditioned stadiums, as many have said: you can't air
condition Qatar.

fantastic performance I doubt many in Catalonia would agree with that.
