Orlando Pirates are a South African football (soccer) club based in Parktown, Johannesburg that plays in the Premier Soccer League. It was founded in 1937 in the Orlando section of Soweto. The Pirates are one of the most successful South African teams. Last season, they finished 2nd in the ABSA Premiership.
