@jcuccaEn Brasil, Boca Juniors empató 1 a 1 con Fluminense y debido a la victoria conseguida en el
partido de ida, accedió nuevamente, tras 4 años, a la semifinal de la Copa Libertadores de
América. El partido arrancó, como ya es costumbre, con un Boca que fue superior al menos por los
primeros 15 minutos.
A pesar de que ya muchos de sus compañeros se encuentran de vacaciones, el juvenil Uvaldo Luna
estará de gira por Holanda con la Selección Mexicana Sub-20. El delantero tejano fue incluido
nuevamente en la convocatoria de Sergio Almaguer y ahora es el único jugador de Tigres citado.
Abel Fuentes fue baja por lesión y Alfonso Tamay no fue convocado en esta ocasión, además de
Espericueta que sigue recuperándose de una lesión.

cabe a esta Copa y (la consiguiente) superpoblación de suplentes vista, no nos extenderemos en los
pormenores de un partido imaginable.
Terminó la temporada para la categoría Sub-20. Los felinos empataron 1-1 en el juego de vuelta
y no les alcanzó para remontar la eliminatoria. La derrota en el partido de ida el jueves 3-2 los
obligaba a ganar por dos goles en la vuelta y lejos estuvieron de poder lograrlo. El partido se
realizó en las instalaciones de La Cantera antes unos casi 300 aficionados.
Sigue el proceso para la Copa Mundial Sub-20 del próximo año y la selección mexicana dirigida
por Sergio Almaguer viajó a Indiana para disputar dos partidos amistosos. Ya desde hace unos días
se encontraban concentrados en el Centro de Alto Rendimiento y ahora hicieron el viaje. En ella hay
tres jugadores de Tigres.

The name of Abel Hernandez has been mentioned in connection with a transfer to Spurs in the
past, but it hadn't appeared for some months, and when you look at the Uruguayan's overall scoring
record, maybe that was a good thing.
