It was an exciting game at Lockhart Stadium in Ft Lauderdale last night as Miami FC defeated AC St.
Louis 4-2. This result eliminates St Louis from the playoffs.

FC beat first place Rochester Rhino's 2-1 in front of a stunned crowd at the Marina Auto
Stadium.

The Blues came out looking for a 'W' this Saturday and they got it, as they beat the Montreal
Impact 2-1 at Lockhart Stadium. Miami scored its first goal off of a Christian Gomez free kick that
curved around the wall and snuck in. It was a wonderful strike! Montreal later tied but an inspired
Abe Thompson scored off of a long pass by JP Rodriguez that was enough to give Miami 3 points and
an outside chance of making the playoffs.

With a 4-2 loss Wednesday night to Miami FC, the dim USSF D-2 playoff aspirations of first-year
club A.C. St. Louis were finally extinguished.
Abe Thompson proved to be too much for the St. Louis defense to handle in Miami, netting a hat
trick and seeing Miami to their third straight win of the season, eliminating any remaining hope of
postseason action for the visitors.
Another week of former Wizards update, a day later due to last night's Wizards game. Along with the
Wizards, former Wizards Abe Thompson and Yura Movsisyan both had big games as combined they scored
5 goals between the two of them in their games yesterday. Matt Taylor also came back on the scene,
scoring 2 goals for his new club in the German third division.

scheduling with the FAU football game the Blues will play at Fort Lauderdale Stadium Baseball
field, but don't worry soccer fans, the Miami FC staff has organized "Party on the Pitch" here fans
will be able to watch the game from the field and enjoy music, beer and other activities provided
by team sponsors!
