Hola Amigos! Burrito been a patients dawg this season. Burrito no bite anyones, nor has Burrito
done pee on anyones tires in parking lot this season and si, Burrito no hump no legs either... yet.
Burrito has come to point where he is mad as a chingado! Why? Because Miami FC can't wins, thats
why! Burrito really, really, really think it time for Miami FC to start playing with Huevos!
Only two teams in the USSF Div 2 can boast being undefeated so far this season. Portland and Miami
FC. The Blues however have not won.
It was an eventful night which saw the surprise visit of Brazil World Cup Veteran Romario. (Click

The Blues scored first thanks to Abe Thompson but held on in the last minutes to a draw.
It was an exciting game at Lockhart Stadium in Ft Lauderdale last night as Miami FC defeated AC St.
Louis 4-2. This result eliminates St Louis from the playoffs.
The highlight of the match was Abe Thompson's hat trick! Abe has been inspired as of late and has
undoubtedly found his form becoming the team's scoring leader with 9 goals.

Things haven't gone well for Miami FC this season. A late start (As seems to be the norm for this
club) was eclipsed by a few important signings such as former MLS players Christian Gomez, Abe
Thompson, Chris Gbandi, Mike Randolph, just to name a few. The problem is that despite an
interesting line up of players the Blues never seemed to find their groove.
Hola amigos! Everyones favorite dawg Burrito here wit mucho info on the Blues loss against those
pinches Aztex! What can Miami FC do to make this team bettererer?
Burrito's amigos at Miami Soccer Fan have an idea. El Presidente of the Miami Ultras Pieter Brown
break it down like this:
This year Miami FC spent some time and money to put a better team on the
field.
Another former Wizards update this week. The biggest news this week for former Wizards all came out
today. First the news came out that former Wizards coach, Curt Onalfo was fired as head coach of DC
United. Based on the news that came out about the firing, Onalfo is going to get plenty of money.
The other news, is that former Wizards midfielder, Herculez Gomez is back with the national team as
he was called up for the upcoming friendly against Brazil.
The Blues have turned up the heat as we approach the final 3 games of the season. Last night Miami
FC beat first place Rochester Rhino's 2-1 in front of a stunned crowd at the Marina Auto
Stadium.
Miami FC looked good on the field and dominated the play for many minutes throughout the game.

By Pieter Brown - Miami FC played 2 challenging pre-season games this weekend and came out with 2
victories. Saturday night the Blues took down Barry University 4-0 and Sunday they beat Soccer
Locker 4-1.
Copa Latina's Soccer Locker is a team comprised of several former Miami FC players such as John
Pulido, Luchi Gonzalez, Sean Barrett and Danny Vasquez plus former MLS players Mark Chung and Craig
Zaide.
If you're a Dynamo fan you have to feel slightly ill about your stable of forwards. Houston's
leading scorer is Brad Davis - a midfielder by trade who's bagged just four goals this season. No
forward on the roster (including Brian Ching) has scored more than two goals. To make matters
worse, two players that were recently wearing the Houston orange are the leading scorers for other
teams.
I missed this update yesterday, lost track of the days in my head. Two of the Wizards players that
they waived last week have landed on their feet, as Kevin Souter was picked up by Seattle, and Kurt
Morsink has followed Curt Onalfo to DC and appears set to earn a contract with them. Mean while
another former Wizard is looking for a new team as Abe Thompson was waived by Real Salt Lake.
By Robert Scorca and Kyle Kaly
Robert Scorca: I was ready for the game against the Rochester Rhinos and made it to Lockhart at
4:30 p.m. Living roughly five miles away made it easier to get there before the start of the 5:00
p.m. Miami Ultras Tailgate Party. Soon after arriving I saw Kyle coming up in the parking lot on
his bicycle.
Another week of former Wizards updates. The biggest news of the past week is the announcement of
the preliminary US roster that has two former Wizards on it, Herculez Gomez and Eddie Johnson. In
other leagues around the world, Chris Konopka continues to get shutouts for Waterford in the Irish
second division.

No matter the opponent, the Austin Aztex keep on rolling.
A struggling Miami FC came to House Park, with the hopes of slowing down the rampant Aztex. But
goals from Eddie Johnson and Lawrence Olum gave the hosts a 2-0 early in the second half, and they
wouldn't look back.
Miami FC have signed midfielder Gerson Mayén and forward Chukwudi Chijindu from Chivas USA. The
players will join Miami FC on loan.

Gerson Mayen born February 9, 1989 in Los Angeles, California is of Salvadoran descent. Mayen was
signed to a full professional contract by Chivas USA on March 27, 2008 after training with the club
throughout preseason.
Robb Heineman tweeted that Kei Kamara signed a new contract with the Wizards today. Camp get even
more crowded now. Kamara, Wolff, Zoltan, Bunbury, Cristman, Kraus, Arnaud and a couple players
trying out can all play forward.Kamara was acquired from Houston last year for Abe Thompson and
allocation money.
Another week of former Wizards updates. Herculez Gomez continues to score goals for Puebla and is
even starting to convince people he should be back in the national team picture. I'd missed the
return of an MLS player as the Crew opened their CONCACAF Champion's League campaign. They closed
that campaign tonight though.
By Julio Caballero - A new season will start in two weeks and there's not a better place to open
the season than at home. Miami will entertain the Rochester Rhinos. Last year record vs the Rhinos
was 0-2-1. This year Miami FC will be a different team on the field with a very talented team. It
will be exciting to watch Miami FC this season.
Brian Quarstad over at Inside Minnesota Soccer came up with an idea to create a 2010 USSF
Division-2 Pro League Season Preview.
It consists of:
* 12 Teams
* 12 Stadiums
* 12 Coaches
* 12 Previews
* 12 Authors
Best of all is a preview of each team.
Miami FC continues their pre-season; this time they beat Florida Gulf Coast University 1-0 in Fort
Myers on Sunday. The goal came from Guatemalan Forward Edward Santeliz who flicked the ball in
after Sean Cameron got a head on the ball which hit the post from a Bryan Perez corner-kick. This
gives the Blues a 4-1 pre-season record so far with their only loss coming against the New York Red
Bulls of the MLS.
Abe Thompson joins the Blues!

line to another level," said General Manager, Luiz Muzzi

home stand on April 17 against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Tampa Bay Rowdies in the first ever meeting between the two teams in the Coastal Cup, a physical
match that marked the new era for a classic rivalry.
MIAMI FC PRESS RELEASE
Miami FC remains undefeated as they worked their way to a 1-1 draw in the final game of the
season-opening home stand against the Carolina Railhawks.
"You can be dominating Carolina, but if you don't put them away, they will punish you and they did
tonight," Miami FC head coach Victor Pastora said.
By Juan Ruiz - We had barely settled into our usual spot over by Section 120, when a glorious pass
fed by Paulo Araujo Jr. to the wide open Abe Thompson got buried to the back of Carolina's
goal.
And there was a moment of hope.
Even though the second half had barely gone under way, we were on top.
Miami FC 1-0 NSC Stars
The NSC Minnesota Stars collected their 6 loss of the season while allowing Miami FC their first
win of the year. The games only goal came at the 71 minute mark as Christian Gomez served a through
ball to Paulo Araujo Jr. The Brazilian forward shot from the goal box and placed the ball past
Minnesota goalkeeper Joe Warren firing just inside the far post.
The former Wizards updates continue, although the numbers will start to get a little smaller now as
the "fall to spring schedule" clubs end their season. The big news this week is that Herculez Gomez
has made the US 23 man roster for the World Cup after scoring a goal yesterday in the USA's 4-2
loss to the Czech Republic in Connecticut.
The Aztex continued their impressive winning form in Miami last night, giving Miami FC their
first defeat of the season. The win gives them 17 points from 8 games, and a little more cushion at
the top of the table.

By Pieter Brown - We are seven games into the season with only eight points, not good enough. With
a 3-1 loss to Austin it's time for a reality check. There is a problem with Miami FC, the question
is where is the problem?
The last few weeks the spirits were high for some reason at Lockhart Stadium.

The Lamar Hunt US Open is the oldest competition in America with the first champion being crowned
in 1914.
This week's former Wizards update is dominated by the second round of the US Open Cup. With MLS
teams still on a World Cup break, the minor leagues of the US have most of the action. Including
the second round of the US Open Cup. The biggest former Wizard appearance of the past week is
Herculez Gomez's two appearances for the US in the World Cup in the USA's second and third game of
the group phase.

US national team in their 2-0 loss to Brazil. Speaking of national teams, Yura Movsisyan made a
commitment to play for the Armenian national team and got his first cap today against Iran. Another
former Wizards player that is on his way back to MLS is Khari Stephenson, who is on his way to San
Jose to play for the Earthquakes.
The Blues came out looking for a 'W' this Saturday and they got it, as they beat the Montreal
Impact 2-1 at Lockhart Stadium. Miami scored its first goal off of a Christian Gomez free kick that
curved around the wall and snuck in. It was a wonderful strike! Montreal later tied but an inspired
Abe Thompson scored off of a long pass by JP Rodriguez that was enough to give Miami 3 points and
an outside chance of making the playoffs.
