We're down to only 2 former Wizards still playing in MLS, as Chris Klein and LA will meet Yura
Movsisyan and Real Salt Lake Sunday in MLS Cup. Still there was more action around the world this
week with FIFA international games being played. Two former Wizards competed with their respective
national teams as both Shavar Thomas and Eddie Johnson played for Jamaica and the US respectively.

Today we move another day closer to the 2009 expansion draft. Now we turn our focus to the
Houston Dynamo.
The Dynamo are a tough team to figure out due to the number of quality players that are both
young and old.

The former Wizards season in MLS continues to wind down and while there weren't a lot of goals this
week by players, there was some news involving former Wizards. First I've added two new players to
the list, as the Jermaine Hue and the Jamaican league started up a little bit ago. And the Wizards
4th round draft pick this past year, Akeem Priestly is now playing in the top division in
Azerbaijan.

be the end for even more former Wizards.

This one really is over now. Paulo Nagamura uncharacteristically lost the ball in the box,
Dynamo midfielder Geoff Cameron took advantage and fed Abe Thompson who put the ball in the net at
the far post for the third Dynamo goal.
This will be Chivas USA's worst home loss of the year if the result stands.

Most former Wizards were back in action this weekend. We're almost done with the regular season for
MLS, meaning some players will be dropping off soon. The USL season is now completely done as
Montreal are the Champions. I've also found two more former Wizards plying their trade in Trinidad.
Both Gary Glasgow and Anthony Noriega are playing for United Petrotrin of the Trinidad Pro League.

When I saw that Kei Kamara had been traded for Abe Thompson, I was a bit surprised. If you take a
closer look at the numbers, it makes a little more sense. Here's the stat lines involved:
77 gm 14 g 12 a .18 gpg (3547 min)
58 gm 9 g 2 a .15 gpg (2957 min)
There's not too much to distinguish these players, other than the fact that one of them seems to be
a much better passer than the other.

Another week of former Wizards updates. The USL playoffs are inn full swing right now. Still
looking for a few former Wizards still, and since Carlos Marinelli hasn't even appeared for
Argentinos Juniors at all, I'm doubting he actually signed for them, so he joins the list of former
Wizards I'm searching for, along with Alex Zotinca, Doug DeMartin, Jose Burciaga, Neal Kitson,
Scott Sealy, and Will John.

Ferro Carril Sud.

Abe Thompson was with the Wizards for a little less than a year before he was traded this past week
for Kei Kamara. Thompson was brought in last year by the Wizards to help with their scoring issues
down the stretch. He didn't find net, but his bigger presence in the forward position did allow the
Wizards to show something different on the field than they had been previously.
