Escalade is dead. You know him from being the huge bigman on the AND1 Mixtape Tour. He died in

With soccer, that is. Ya see, USWNT star netminder Hope Solo has been revealed as a contestant in
the next season of #3 Nielsen Ratings show Dancing With The Stars. The premiere is set for ABC on
September 19th. Finally, something soccer widows can watch with the hubby. It's all part of
soccer's plan to "28 Days Later" the nation.

The leader of the U.S. Womens team, Abby Wambach has continued her dominant play (at the age of 31)
on the field during a recent "Celebration Series" which included two friendlies with our northern
neighbors, Canada.
Wambach has scored three goals in the two games and is playing some of the best soccer of her
international career.

Due to her participation on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo will not be
attending training camp in Arizona and has been replaced on the roster by Val Henderson of the
Philadelphia Independence. After a tremendous performance in two dances on Monday, Solo was voted
through and advanced to the semifinals of the dance competition show on Tuesday night.
Sonoran Living, a daily morning show on ABC 15 here in Arizona, featured U.S. captain Christie
Rampone on a short piece this week. You can watch it here and see why Reece Rampone sometimes
