Shay and Jane Given held their annual charity extravaganza at the Lancashire County Cricket Club last night. As in previous years, the event featured a fashion show by Selfridges, a performance by Westlife, a silent auction with fab prizes and a top meal.

Next year we'll take our champagne budget for the month of April and go all in for a table.

FYI, Kickettes a few of our staffers are making the trip up to Manchester for tonight's derby, which means fact/spell-checked stories and drunk tweeting can not be guaranteed.

Philip Armstrong, who has become the go-to designer for custom made dresses for WAGs in and around Liverpool, hosted a fashion show at Harvey Nichols in Manchester to showcase their latest collection.

We didn't watch most of last night's Brit Awards mainly because we're not fans of the show for similar reasons as Joey Barton but we did manage to tune in just as Cesc Fabregas was muttering his way through Ed Sheeran's name.

It was more than cute, Kickettes. So was his hair cut.

Stoke v Spurs was exciting.. but there's no call for that, lino!

United launch Phil Jones action figure... or is it Mr Potato Head? The week's daftest football quotes, plus Howard Webb stars in textbook Yes, Stoke's win against Tottenham was very exciting. But perhaps not quite as exciting as the linesman seemed to find it!

The British Fashion Awards were announced last night at the Savoy in London and with baby Harper (likely wearing solid gold pajamas) asleep upstairs and her parents in tow, Victoria Beckham accepted the award for Designer Brand of the Year. Victoria triumphed over Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, and Burberry to take home that strange rectangular trophy.

A bevy of WAGs attended the annual Pride of Britain Awards in London last night. They were buffed, bronzed, curled, and lipsticked to the max. Like always, we have some thoughts on their formal attire.

For the second year running, Coleen Rooney wore a dress from her Littlewoods collection.

You know, Miss Monday, we really wouldn't object to you using one of your sick days in the near future. After all, that's why we offer them to you.

But don't even try rolling them over into 2012 because they're non-transferrable. You either use them or lose them, so let's make it count.

Abbey Clancy (along with Peter and baby Sophia) had her hands full outside Osteria restaurant in Prestbury, Cheshire. The fam stopped off for a quick bite during a long day of house hunting in the area on 08.09.2011.

We've read a lot of tips and tricks for losing and keeping the baby weight off, but have never had to heed any anonymous advice ourselves, thankfully.

Alright, alright, technically neither of these are Tottenham WAGs. Abbey Clancy, because Crouch has left us for Stoke, and Louise Redknapp, because, well, shes not married to her dad. But I can't think of any better way to say goodbye to Crouch and fill the boredom of the international break by posting pictures of the departed Clancy one last time, and the reigning Tottenblog Hotspur WAG Cup winner, Louise Redknapp.

For several people in the area, the recent riots in London and beyond were significantly more than a news item. Many Londoners lost homes, businesses and livelihoods during the social unrest, and thousands of residents who don't feel the need to express themselves by breaking windows in chicken shops and stealing shoes have organised groups and fundraisers to help with the rebuild.

Peter Crouch got married to Abbey Clancy yesterday.

We've watched these crazy kids fall head over heels into punch-drunk love for many years, so it was only a matter of time that Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy cemented their loved-up status with magic tricks and karaoke.

Congrats to the couple, who got hitched in a ceremony earlier today.

It appears that the stork assigned to soccer babies has had a busy old night, Kickettes. Yes, while you were indulging in your entirely unnecessary beauty sleep (we know that, like us, you are all gorgeous and beyond compare), news broke of not one, but two bubba related soccer stories.

The word "WAG" was created to function as a plural: English players' wives and girlfriends, roving through Germany in a sort of mass or pack, terrorizing shopkeepers, coming out at night to run up horrifying collective restaurant tabs beneath the light of the full moon. Yes, there was an added s as the word was commonly used, but rather than implying a group composed of individual members, it was clearly meant to serve as part of an overall abbreviation: wives and girlfriends, glimpsed by unbelieving townsfolk on the edge of the Black Forest, or near the Hohenbaden Castle ruins.
