One of Arsenal's most promising youngsters, midfielder Aaron Ramsey is finally back, fully
recovered from the horrible injury suffered at Stoke and ready to take full advantage of his second
loan spell this season. Loaned out ...
Work rate to go with the acrobatics?
FA Cup returns to the menu as Arsenal kick off their campaign against Leeds United. The
opposition may only be a Championship team but their history means that we have to treat this match
seriously. Since their glory days of getting in the Champions League semifinal, Leeds have plummet
down the ranks of English football.
Morning all. Back at work? Long Christmas break over? Boss giving you a hard time already? Wish
I could help. Have you thought about smashing him on the top of the head with a mallet? A bit of
personal satisfaction plus the classic comedy you can only get by smashing someone on the top of
the head with a mallet.
No Toure, your team is shite
That should really be the headline of the day. The Welsh midfielder will be named for the first
time in almost 1 year (11 months to be correct) in an Arsenal official competitive match day squad.
He had just returned from a loan stint with Nottingham Forest in the Championship.
Right so, FA Cup action this early afternoon against Leeds.
I needn't go into the details of why I dislike Leeds so much again, suffice to say I really,
really, really want us to win this. We know there are going to be a raft of changes to the Arsenal
team. The manager has been cautious with Djourou so he's unlikely to play and he said he'd rest
Koscielny who had played a lot recently, so there's a question over who might partner Squillaci at
the centre of the defence.
Let's start back in the late 60's and early 70's. The mere mention of Leeds was certain to cause
fear in all but the hardest of Gooners. Leeds were as hard as their fans. Bremner, Giles, Charlton,
Hunter etc were without question the dirtiest side I have ever seen, but let there be no doubt,
that side could play great football before they kicked two colours out of the opposition.
The boss was at pains to point out that nobody will be leaving the club in the January transfer
window in his press conference yesterday. He was asked a range of questions on a range of players,
the first one was about Aaron Ramsey's short-term future and the question of him going out on loan

After a short loan spell with Nottingham Forest, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is back with the
Gunners and ready to secure a regular place in Arsene Wenger's starting eleven. Speaking to the
Daily Star before the ...
Morning all and welcome to a brand new week. Yesterday's 0-0 between United and Sp*rs was
probably the best result for us, meaning both teams have dropped two points. Gap closed at the top,
widened at the other end. All in all a good weekend as we got back to business in the league. Next
up for us is Wigan at home but between now and then there's the FA Cup replay at Elland Road to
contend with.
It's a beautiful day today, isn't it? The sun is out, the birds are chirping....ok so there are
no birds. And it's pretty damn cold right now. Who cares? We just won an FA Cup tie and we're back
to winning ways. On top of that, we're scoring plenty of goals, just as Bergkamp intended. Shall we
make it 3 trips to Wembley this season?
The last time we saw Vermaelen in shorts
The experts thinks that we are short in numbers. Even the most ardent Arsenal supporter would
like to see Arsene Wenger make another signing or two in the January transfer window. If anything,
signing that can drag us over the finishing line first. Yet, Arsenal are the only club remaining in
England who can still win all four competitions.
We're back to our regularly scheduled programming. I've gotten myself all caught up with recent
events. So, I hear we're going to some place called ‘Wembley'? That's nice. Oh who am I kidding?
I'm so excited! Woooooo!!! We're going to Wem-ber-ley!!! I know it's just the Kiddie Cup, but it
will be my first cup final with the Arsenal.
Morning all,
busy day today, and it's Friday, and it's the end of the so-called working week and it's the end
of so-called January (mostly) which means that the month on the dry is over. I'm a little scared to
be honest. What if beer has found somebody else? Rum might have the hump with me? Oh bourbon, I
didn't mean to hurt you, cups of tea are no match for your special warmth.
Arsenal youngster Aaron Ramsey has spoken out over his decision to sign for the Gunners over Sir
Alex Ferguson's Manchester United, and also discussed his heydays before football. The Welsh
midfielder is currently on loan at Cardiff City, but he revealed that encouraging talks with
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger helped him make a decision.
