Anyone watching the Stoke City against Arsenal game on Saturday would have been absolutely
sickened to see the horrific injury against Arsenal forward Aaron Ramsey. The horror show tackle
could easily end Ramsey's career such was the extent of the injury.
The incident happened in the second half when Ryan Shawcross knocked the ball ahead of him and
tried to catch up to it while Aaron Ramsey ran forward to intercept the ball.
The injury suffered by Aaron Ramsey on a hard tackle by Ryan Shawcross was gruesome. But there were
some positives to take away from this incident: sportsmanship and cool heads.
In the Jewish faith, the act of becoming a man at thirteen is a huge step. Standing before your
family, friends, and the community as a whole, you are recognized as a full member of the
community. For me as a Jew, that is the moment that I became a man. For most of you, you can
probably remember the moment that you became a man.
Words that, in a fair world, would never occur in proximity: "nineteen-year-old player" and
"potentially career-ending injury." Sending positive thoughts and healing wishes your way, Aaron.
(I also have a fair bit of sympathy for Ryan Shawcross, who was in tears as he was leaving the
pitch. Bad tackle, yes, but [.
Arsenal's frozen assets are in the form of key players returning to fitness and form if
everything goes our way, we may see the loss of yesterday's game as a bonus in that it gives us a
little more time to get closer to full strength. The return of Cesc, Vermaelen, Ramsey and Diaby
would make us a force to be reckoned with capable of fighting on many fronts and yes, beating
Barcelona why not?
Fulham's American winger Clint Dempsey has suffered suspected cruciate knee ligament damage, which
could jeopardise his place at the 2010 World Cup.The 26-year-old United States international was
injured in the second half of Fulham's 2-0 loss to Blackburn and went to hospital for a scan."The
initial prognosis for Clint is not good," said Fulham manager Roy Hodgson.
I have written 20 articles for coaches who tend to over-coach, place too much importance on the X's
and O's, and don't let their players go out and have fun and make mistakes. Since the articles were
written during the first few months of the blog, they don't get the visibility they deserve. The
articles are valuable for players and parents alike.
With the glut of injuries at the Emirates this season, Aaron Ramsey has been given his big chance
to prove that he could fit easily into the Arsenal first team, and he has capped a run of eight
straight games with a brilliant goal against Portsmouth last week. Manager Arsene Wenger believes
that the young Welshman [.
Ryan Shawcross had no intention of turning Aaron Ramsey‘s leg into putty when he went into his
tackle yesterday. Martin Taylor had no interest in seeing Eduardo's leg shattered in two when he
went studs up against him two years ago. Dan Smith took no delight in the crunching sound of Abou
Diaby's ankle being fractured and dislocated when he went in late against him two years before
that.
If the media would stop clanging their cymbals together about Arsenal being "bad for England,"
and how "Arsenal don't care about English players" and actually look at the situation, they would
see that Arsenal may very well have amassed the best collection of young English talent at a single
club in the last decade or so.
This excellent post written by RedArse was sent to us over the weekend and continues the
discussion about serious injuries. Thank you RedArse for your contribution.

Like most Arsenal fans, I greeted, with relief and joy, the news, that "Rambo" Ramsey was not
far from resuming full time training, with a view to returning in the New Year.
Several things today:
First and foremost, we have some actual tentatively positive news on the injury front.
My boy St. Nicklas is apparently finally nearing a return. After reinjuring the groin injury
which hampered him at the end of last season while representing Denmark in the World Cup, the Great
Dane is back in contention.
Just like last season, I thought I would have a look at the top teenagers currently
playing in the Premier League. These footballers are all destined to be top players and may even
turn out to be World class if they continue to expand on their already flourishing
reputations.
Firstly, I would like to thank all those who wrote such kind words regarding my piece in the
Arsenal in the Community book. Secondly, I would like to thank Peaches and Rasp for establishing
such a hotbed of creative activity.
Which has nothing whatsoever to do with Stoke, particularly the "hotbed of creative
activity!
A handful of first team regulars were uncharacteristically slotted into the FA Cup team by
Arsene Wenger as Arsenal survived West Ham's efforts to upset them. The Hammers looked to be in
control and ready to apply yet another blow to Arsenal's season after coming back from two goals
down to draw earlier in the season.
... we also need the kind of youthful exuberance and enthusiasm that was shown by Aaron Ramsey
following his equalizer at Upton Park. The 19-year old ran straight into the 500 traveling Arsenal
supporters followed by Carlos Vela to celebrate his superbly taken equalizer.
Slightly older players like van Persie and Eduardo enthusiastically celebrate goals but not like
Ramsey today or, for that matter, Cesc.
Arsenal fought back from a goal down to beat West Ham.
The FA Cup never fails to bring romance back into the game of football. In classic David versus
Goliath fashion, Leeds United relived moments of their past glories by shocking a strangely subdued
Manchester United. That win brought about feelings of "can do" while approaching the subsequent FA
Cup 3rd round match of the weekend, West Ham United versus Arsenal.
It's the small things that count. Five years down the line, Arsenal fans may well still be
celebrating the time Fergie said he was too busy and let Gary Neville show Aaron Ramsey around the
training ground. Or, perhaps more importantly, how Arsene Wenger flew Ramsey and his parents out to
Euro 2008 and explained the benefits of little Aaron signing for Arsenal.
The Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger praised the contribution of his captain Cesc Fabregas in the 2-0 win
over Bolton yesterday, as he returned to the side after missing three games through injury, and
said that he couldn't explain how important Fabregas is to his team. "If you watch the game today
it is difficult to say how [.

Arsenal FC have confirmed that 19-year-old Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey will miss the remainder of
the season after fracturing his right fibula and tibia in the Premier League match at Stoke last
night. The injury, which brought back horrible memories of Eduardo's career-threatening injury at
Birmingham two years ago, was caused as a result of Ryan [.

In America, the people go on about their 2nd Amendment rights to own a gun. And so, despite 2004
figures showing that almost 12,000 people are murdered a year by guns, it is oh so easy to acquire
a gun in America.
The point here, is that the crime is not in owning a gun: if I had a pistol framed on my bedroom
wall it wouldn't threaten anyone.
Ho Hum, another season, another trophy! Manchester United fans may well get that feeling at times.
No, the Carling Cup is not the most glamorous competition in world football but hey, a trophy
is...

Following painstaking research from the nation's leading football pundits, and Robbo Robson, it
has been discovered that many Arsenal players amazingly - do not take kindly to being
maimed every other year.
As well as not relishing the time-honoured British traditions of seeing their stricken
teammates' limbs hanging off by a spindly thread and receiving oxygen as they leave the pitch, it
has also been rumoured that Arsenal are also believed to be, shockingly, mainly foreign
(ed-I know!
That's it then. Arsenal have officially turned the corner. In the same way that Eduardo's
injury, Stuart Parnaby's dive and William Gallas's teary outburst reflected the collapse of their
2007-08 title challenge, so Ramsey's injury, Danny Pugh's waving arms and Cesc Fabregas's penalty
will reflect Arsenal's glorious rampage to the title.

Lets Do It For Aaron..
Indian Education system is quiet idealistic in its approach and quiet philosophical as well, if
I can say so. I learnt it long back in school that everything happens for good. Every action has a
tinge of positivity in it, which is in turn, is elementary to the existence of everything in this
world.

Football is awash with statistics. Goals for and goals against, average points per game and
territorial advantages. I will start with 2.10. That is Arsenal's average points
per game this season. After 29 games, Arsenal has 19 wins,
4 draws and 6 losses.
Aaron Ramsey, the 19 year old midfielder of Arsenal had a horrific injury in the club's recent
Premier League match against Stoke City. Basing on the video below, it looks like it's the end of
his promising career, but hopefully not.
Look at the part 3:52 in this video.

As Arsenal fans, when injuries cropped up, we tend to think that we have more injuries than other
clubs. However that is not the reality with the exception of this season. In terms of the normal
injuries like muscle pain or knocks, we are basically the same with the rest of the of the European

Part II, comin' at ya!:
1. The Domestic Cups We didn't win either one of them. And we didn't come
particularly close. But considering the circumstances, I don't think we can actually be too
disappointed.
In the Carling Cup, we just have to face up to the fact that that's not a competition we even
try to win any more.
Aaron Ramsey may need emergency surgery after it looks like he broke his leg in
yesterday's 3-1 victory at Stoke. The Arsenal midfielder was transferred to a hospital in
London.
"We know it's a bad injury we don't know how long he will be out but it's certainly long term,"
Wenger said.
It is a very emotional Aaron Ramsey the one showing his gratitude to all the fans who sent him "get
well soon" messages via the club's official website. The 19-year old suffered a horrible injury

The Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has come to terms with his horrific injury which is expected to
keep him out until well into next season, and is looking at it very philosophically. He believes
that it is just a "test of his character" and he will be an even better player when he comes
through [.
