With 67 days to go before the big kick-off in South Africa, recent developments have changed the look of England's squad with currently several positions still up for grabs due to injuries and form issues. Let's look at some of the questions Fabio Capello has to deal with before the plane leaves.

Fabio Capello must cut SEVEN players from his provisional squad of 30 by midnight on June 1st. In Capello's shoes, which seven players would you ditch?

Back in November we looked at England's potential squad the definites, possibles, maybes, and no-ways and it looked pretty rosy, pretty balanced. Fast forward three months and it has a whole different, far more worrying appearance...

Let's look at these in detail.

There are only 93 days to go before the 2010 World Cup kicks off. As we get closer to the tournament, the pressure will increase for many England players as they worry whether they'll make the final squad or not.

Based on their experience and what the players can offer on the pitch, here is my prediction for the final England 23-man roster:

GOALKEEPERS: David James, Joe Hart, Robert Green

DEFENDERS: Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Leighton Baines (or Ashley Cole, if fully recovered from injury), Joleon Lescott, Matthew Upson, Glen Johnson, Wes Brown

MIDFIELDERS: David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Gareth Barry, Aaron Lennon (or Shaun Wright-Phillips, if Lennon doesn't fully recover from injury), Ashley Young, Michael Carrick, James Milner

FORWARDS: Wayne Rooney, Peter Crouch, Emile Heskey, Jermain Defoe, Carlton Cole

AVAILABLE FOR CALL-UP IN CASE OF LAST MINUTE INJURIES: Gabriel Agbonlahor, Stewart Downing, Stephen Warnock, Joe Cole, Theo Walcott, Paul Robinson

As far as my prediction goes, I believe Carlton Cole would add a little bit of magic up front for England when he has an opportunity to come on as a substitute.

With a little under three months left to the World Cup, the excitement is building up in the air over England's chances and who gets a plane ticket to South Africa. There are a few obvious 'shoe-ins' in the wide areas for the squad – barring fitness – including the likes of James Milner and Aaron Lennon.

I set a low bar for Bob Bradley and he easily cleared it today when he named fis 30-man preliminary roster.

As I wrote yesterday, all I wanted him to do was:

1. Name only three goalies.
2. Don't name less than 30 players.
3. Leave Frankie Hejduk in Columbus.

Pass, pass and pass.

Yesterday Fabio Capello told us that he knew who his final 23 were and tomorrow he will tell us exactly who they are. Here at the England World Cup blog though, we think we think we already know: the only problem is, we "know" different things!

What a week we've had! Wayne Rooney (S) seemed on the verge of a January move away from Manchester United before doing a complete one-eighty and signing a new five-year deal worth £46.8M. Despite his new contract, he'll not feature for the club for at least three-weeks thanks to a serious ankle injury(!

Gareth Bale has had a stunning 2010 and the Welsh winger rounded it off with a stunning goal against Newcastle United on December 28, 2010. The past few days has seen a number of provisional and even final squads announced for the World Cup, but today two of the most anticipated provisional squads were revealed. England has delivered their 30 provisional players amidst controversy regarding manager Fabio Capello's involvement in a bizarre form rating website which sports his name.

England coach Fabio Capello made adjustments to his starting line-up in preparation for England's final World Cup warm up game against Japan in Graz, Austria before the 23-man squad is announced on Tuesday. After a lackluster performance against fellow qualifiers Mexico last week at Wembley, Capello gives some of his squad players a chance to impress before the axe falls.

England head coach Fabio Capello has finalized (or in England finalised) his 23-man roster for the World Cup.

There were a minor few surprises according to the English media, notably the exclusion of Theo Walcott and Darren Bent, but Man City midfielder Gareth Barry has apparently sufficiently recovered from an ankle injury to make the squad, although reports are that he will not be fit for the opening match of the World Cup against the USA on June 12.

This match has probably had the most anticipation than any other match in the group stages, while many were pointing to the USA's historic victory over England in 1950, I'm pointing at the 1-1 draw that the USA player's fought so hard for.

Both teams went into this match with a straight 4-4-2, Capello decides to put Robert Green in net while Bob Bradley puts Clark in midfield next to Michael Bradley.

Harry Redknapp today said his Tottenham team are capable of mounting a title challenge. His reasoning was simple enough. A year earlier he had insisted his team were equipped to finish in the top four of the Premiership and the players responded to the challenge and achieved just that.

As Spurs boss Harry Redknapp looks to further strengthen his squad this summer, fans of the North London club are approaching one of the most anticipated seasons in club history after a brilliant end to a successful one last May.

Harry Redkapp's been left with a tactical dilemma to contend with after Crouchy and VDV twice combined to silence the Villa faithful.

When William Gallas first signed for Spurs I dare say most Tottenham fans were troubled rather than excited. 1 ) Cesc Fabregas

Not only is Cesc Fabregas the best player 22 & Under, but he might be the best midfielder in the entire Premier League. I apologize to all the Lampard and Gerrard fans out there, but what Fabregas is doing this year is incredible and it is no coincidence that Barcelona is salavating over purchasing the young star.

The Mail reports the Hammers had been expected to complete a deal for the Icelandic international after the player completed a medical on Tuesday, but Harry Redknapp swooped in with a late offer and used the lure of a Champions League challenge to snatch Gudjohnson, a former Chelsea player, from under the nose of their city rivals.

Before our home match with Wigan earlier on in the season, I interviewed Dan Farrimond of the brilliantly named blog Jesus Was A Wiganer.

As you would imagine, neither of us predicted that the game would result in quite such a comprehensive scoreline for Tottenham. Tottenham 2 Everton 1 – A Win That Could Have Been So Much More?

‘A game of two halves!'; It's a little bit of a cliché.

But that's exactly what it was, much to my dismay and that of many Spurs fans. The first half was something special, completely in control of the game and a symphony being composed before our very eyes by our Croatian triad along with Huddlestone and Bale.

Earlier this week I posed the question as to whether we thought that Tom Huddlestone would make the England World Cup squad. A resounding 73% of Spurs fans unbiased voters, think that the big man will be on the plane to South Africa. I wonder if Fabio agrees?

What's more important of course, is that Huddlestone returns to fitness and gets back in the Spurs team.
