A group of Ultras and Miami FC fans gathered at America's Backyard in Ft Lauderdale this Sunday and
watched the Blues hold on to a tie versus the Montreal Impact.
Miami FC started off on fire and scored via Christian Gomez early on but Montreal's Tony Donatelli
tied it on Penalty kick.

The North American Soccer League will hold it's Annual General Meeting tomorrow in Miami's Mandarin
Oriental Hotel on Biscayne Bay. The event takes place on November 7 and 8 and will bring together
representatives from all existing NASL teams starting with the current Champions Puerto Rico
Islanders, Carolina RailHawks, Montreal Impact, Miami FC Blues, FC Tampa Bay, Crystal Palace
Baltimore and new expansion team FC Edmonton.

team that will come into the season with a great deal of question marks. Miami will also play in

Miami FC Press Release - Miami FC announced today its commitment to officially pay homage to the
richest legacy in South Florida soccer, the storied Ft. Lauderdale Strikers. The Strikers
competed in the North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1977 to 1983, the American Professional
Soccer League (APSL) from 1988 to 1994 and the United Systems of Independent Soccer Leagues Pro
Division (USISL Pro) from 1995 to 1997.
Rumors were trickling in this past week that Jeff Cooper, owner of the USSF D2 Pro League team
AC St. Louis had found a new owner. On Friday the story seemed to be taking shape and by Friday
evening it was confirmed by numerous St. Louis soccer insiders. Here what IMS has learned.
The much anticipated USSF D2 meeting on Monday took place in New York without much fanfare or
negotiations according to sources involved with teams that participated. The meeting was in general
amicable and US Soccer did allow discourse.
Those attending the meeting from the Federation were Sunil Gulati, Dan Flynn, and Brian
Remedi.
IMS has confirmed with numerous reputable sources that St. Louis resident Ryan
Woods has interest in purchasing or investing in the USSF D2 Pro League team, AC St. Louis
from St. Louis Soccer United (SLSU) which is partially owned by Jeff Cooper.
The North American Soccer League released a press statement this morning stating they have
submitted to the USSF their final bid for sanctioning of Division II.
The eight teams included in the league will be the, Atlanta Silverbacks, Carolina RailHawks, FC
Edmonton, FC Tampa Bay, Montreal Impact, Miami FC Blues, NSC Minnesota Stars and the Puerto Rico
Islanders.
The Atlanta Silverbacks, who just recently were announced as one of eight teams to play in the
newly provisionally sanctioned North American Soccer League, held a press conference on Wednesday.
Attending the press conference were Atlanta Silverbacks Chairman Boris Jerkunica and President
Michael Oki.

Backyard will be the home of MFC post game parties throughout the 2010 season.
The night started out with a few free drinks, snack buffet and a chance to mingle with the players
and front office.

The NASL announced this afternoon that they have signed San Antonio as a expansion team for 2012
should they secure the sanctioning for division 2 with the USSF in 2011.
The NASL has been working on the San Antonio market this year and it's believed the agreement
had been solidified in the last several weeks.
