The United States got a first-half goal that stood into halftime, but couldn't hold up over the second 45, losing 3-1 to Denmark on Wednesday in Aarhus. Jeff Cunningham scored from the top of the arc in the 26th-minute for the opener. For Denmark, the story of the game was making three changes to start the second-half, Johan Absalonsen got too much space in the US box and scored a 47th-minute equalizer - 70 seconds. Onyewu plans a speedy recovery from knee surgery

USA-Slovakia friendly on Nov. 14 is now official

The USA-Slovakia friendly scheduled for Nov. 14 in Slovakia that was first reported last Friday is now official, U.S. Soccer revealed on Monday.

The United States will play the Slovaks in Bratislava on Nov. 14. The kickoff time and television information have yet to be finalized.

Slovakia is one of two 2010 World Cup participants the United States will face next month.

The United States will play the Slovaks in Bratislava on Nov. 14. The kickoff time and television information have yet to be finalized.

The U.S. men's national team wasted no time scheduling an opponent for a November friendly after qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.

The United States will travel to Europe next month to take on fellow World Cup qualifier Denmark on Nov. 18 in Aarhus. The announcement came just three days after the USA qualified for the World Cup with its 3-2 victory vs.

A week after delivering the fastest assist in Danish Superliga history, Feilhaber continued his impressive run of form with a game-winning goal in Aarhus' 3-2 win over Randers FC on Monday. The goal, which came in the 45th minute, helped Aarhus climb to first place in the league after two games played.
