United States Men's National Team defender Danny Califf has decided to leave the Danish Superliga
in exchange for a contract with Major League Soccer's newest team, according to a report by
Soccer365's Greg Seltzer. The player and his current team, FC Midtjylland, have agreed on a
contract buyout that will set the 29-year-old free as of January 1st, 2010, paving the way for the
Philadelphia Union to scoop him up in time for their inaugural season.
