Have you noticed that Andrey Arshavin hasn't been in the Arsenal line-up lately? Were you
wondering what happened to him?
Congratulations. You're as good as we are at paying attention to what's going on.
Hmm. This is Russian football talent, yes?
TweetLA Galaxy midfielder and former England captain David Beckham is the star of the show in a new
Burger King advert. Ok, so the acting is diabolical, but hey, on this cold Spring morning,
Beckham's 31 seconds in front of the camera brought a wry smile on the lips of In The Stands'
editor-in-chief AA [.
Here are some results to put the fear of God up you:
- Losing 2-3 at home to Blackburn Rovers.
- Losing 0-3 away at Newcastle.
- Losing 0-1 at Everton.
- Losing 0-1 at Sunderland.
- Losing 0-1 at Everton (again).
- Losing 1-2 at Stoke.
The good news is that none of them are Arsenal results.

Today's post is written by Neil, a QPR supporter who we met up with before the game last
Saturday. These are his thoughts on the game and the Emirates experience.
I got the chance to visit the Emirates stadium as I have always wanted to, as iI had heard a lot
about it and it always looks great on TV.
This is probably the best goal of the century, scored by Sun Hei's Festus Biase during his sides
3-2 win over Citizen aa in Hong Kong, watch how his attempted block turned into the greatest ever
scorpion kick since Colombian keeper Rene Hiquita's Scorpion kick v England many moons ago.
Kong.
Nigerian defender Festus Baise scored a scorpion kick and perhaps the greatest ever own goal during
Sun Hei SC's 3-2 defeat to Citizen AA in the Hong Kong first division. Is this the finest ever goal
you will see? That is, the finest ever OWN goal you will see? Poor Festus Baise. The nippy
Nigerian's [.
This outrageous scorpion kick own goal comes from Hong Kong. Sun Hei's Nigerian defender Festus
Baise attempts to deal with a ball into the box from opponents Citizen AA. It doesn't look like the
most threatening cross in the world, but that's before Baise makes his intervention. With the ball
cut back behind him, the [.

Forgive the hyperbole, but Sun Hei defender Festus Baise scored !!!THE GREATEST FUDGING OWN GOAL
OF ALL FUDGING TIME!!! against Citizen AA in the Hong Kong Premier League this weekend.
Don't believe us? Heard it all before? Take a look at this little beauty.
Football blogs serve one important function and that is to provide an escape valve for
supporters to vent their angst and boy have we had cause of late. Such is the need to let off steam
that AA has been flooded with with contributors wishing to exorcise their footballing demons. Today
we publish the thoughts of 2 new writers who are Arsenal to the core and through their own words
have reached the same upbeat conclusion as to our prospects this season.
It is the Annual General Meeting of the Southern Football League today, at which the
ratification of the constitution of the league for next season will take place. One of the teams
that is supposed to be starting the new season, however, Rushden & Diamonds, is now almost
certainly not going be starting the new season at the end of a week that seems likely to change the
face of football in Northamptonshire forever.

Today I am prostituting myself and as the title would suggest, I am appealing to the Asian
Market for my "Hits". Now that I am a record breaking AA Poster, I would like to move swiftly on
to today's topic. Total Football and The Wenger Way. At this point, I am about to drop a bomb on
some heads, and would therefore urge the likes of TA to "Tin Hat Up".
Last week I listened to a number of end of season podcasts. Needless to say the non-Arsenal
assessments were damning of the team and in particular the podcasts made by professional
journalists.(SkySports, Guardian etc). Almost to a man the journalists blamed Arsenal's failure on
Mr Wenger lack of activity in the transfer market and his reliance on his youth policy.
With the last game out of the way and a football-free summer upon us (unless you get turned on
by the Under 21s), I thought it might be a good idea to examine our season through the prism of the
headlines that have accompanied the daily post here on Arsenal Arsenal.
With a new post every day and a long season, I'm breaking it up into sections, starting today
with August, September and October.
The final home game in what has been an ultimately disappointing season, and a chance to almost
cement 3rd place.
It hurt watching the Manchester clubs yesterday. Manchester City won the FA Cup and
congratulations to the knuckle dragging, bog dwelling mingers upon winning the Title.
I can write in two words why we didn't win the PL in a year when we were surely the best
football team Home Form.

That is what exactly Trabzonspor, did!
Forest Park tops Brentsville in girls soccer: "For a girls soccer team like Group AA Brentsville,
the opportunity to play a perennial Group AAA power like Forest Park is a special opportunity."
Coming up later this month, the KC Athletics will begin their campaign to qualify for their second
straight US Open Cup. On April 30th, Kansas City will play host to the Iowa Menace in a Region II
qualifier. The game is one of 3 qualifiers that are set to take place on that date. The other two
involve Lafayette Sports Club (IN) vs AAC Eagles out of Illinois (who the Athletics beat last year
to qualify) and Viking AA (IL) vs Detroit United.
A stranded motorist rang into BBC Five Live Radio Station today telling how to
his total astonishment David Beckham helped him push his broken down Nissan Primera.
The listener Paul told presenter Richard Bacon that having been stranded for over ten minutes on
a busy Hertfordshire roundabout after a School run, Beckham wearing a hoody approached him and
helped him push his broken down motor.

A result to put a smile back on our faces, a Nasri inspired Arsenal waltzed past a doggedly
determined Leeds side to halt the slide against Championship opposition.
The game kicked off with some tough challenges signalling a hard fought encounter but we soon
got our passing game going, Arshavin and Chamakh combining nicely before the latter dummied the
return of a one/two letting a besnooded Nasri slip through the centre of defence and bury the ball
in the 5th minute.
