It's time to inaugurate what I hope will become a busily regular theme post here at NSC by saluting Reading manager Steve Coppell for his comments in the aftermath of the wacky 2-2 draw ably described by Sean in the previous post (with exclusive remarks from Watford's Jay DeMerit, no less). Sometimes, we get so caught up criticizing that we forget to honor the good guys.

There are few things I love more in this world than when a zebra admits he screwed up big time. With that premise set, I offer up Bundesliga ref Wolfgang Stark as a stand-up guy. The whistleblower clearly cost BvB a goal - and perhaps two points - but to his credit, fully owned up the mistake. The game would be far better off if more referees followed Stark's example.
