The 38-year-old Friedel posted his eighth shutout in Aston Villa's last ten league games by
making five saves in the Villans' scoreless draw with Tottenham. Averaging less than a goal
against per game, Friedel now has 11 cleansheets on the season.
The U.S. national team will take on one of the world's top teams in its final test before the
World Cup roster is due when it faces the Netherlands at Amsterdam ArenA today (2:30pm, ESPN2 and
