Blaise Matuidi has been linked with a move to Arsenal for some time now, yet Arsene Wenger's
hesitance to take a chance on the player dubbed the new Claude Makelele has encouraged Liverpool to
emerge as rivals for the player's signature.

Birmingham are planning to steal Robbie Keane away from the grasp of rivals Aston Villa in a
£6million January transfer window swoop.
Tottenham are prepared to listen to offers for Ireland striker Keane during the winter transfer
window, with Harry Redknapp valuing the 30-year-old record Irish goalscorer at around £8m.
Liverpool are hoping to sign Inter Milan youngster Davide Santon as Roy Hodgson looks to bring in
more youthful talent to help build for the future.
The talented teenage Italian international has been told he can leave the San Siro and a host of
clubs are looking to secure his signature and given the much publicized reports of a falling out
between Hodgson and England international Glen Johnson the reports of interest in another right
back are no surprise.
Lille-ver-Pool bound?

$12.5M Euros on a four-year contract.
