You may recall some months ago that Corinthians locked Adriano in a hotel and gorged him on
nothing but cardio and salads, like some footballer foie gras, but with the intent of treating the
fatness and the liver. This, much like most of Adriano's career, didn't work and he was released
from his contract with Corinthians recently.
When you've had a long career, won a bunch of trophies, made enough money to finance a movie
starring 50 Cent and merk'd half of England 2006 World Cup team, staying motivated on the pitch can
be difficult. But not for Rio Ferdinand, who, as a 33-year-old adult man draws his motivation from
the young hecklers who goad him as he walks his children to school.

Jackman rates Grant Holt's start to the season out of 10
Aussie superstar Hugh Jackman is the latest big cheese from the world of entertainment to flirt
with part-ownership of an English football club, thus following in the footsteps of Jay-Z (Arsenal)
and 50 Cent (Accrington Stanley).
Remember a few weeks ago when I ran into Judah Friedlander, The World Champion, at a party? This is
what came out of it. Big man can move, right?
So let this be a lesson to all the young kids hustlin' out there on how this whole "networking"
thing works: you go to a party, have a drink with someone preferably more more juiced than you,
talk about work, and spin it in to Youtube gold.
