It is Gareth Bales's coming of age for Spurs. However the Wales international was unable to save
the game for Tottenham despite scoring an impressive hattrick. Eto'o, Stankovic and Javier Zanetti
were on target for the home side. The final score reads Inter Milan 4 vs Tottenham 3.
What did we want from last night's game? We were playing the champions of Europe in their own
backyard. Many, if not all, expected us to lose and anything above that would be a bonus and that's
exactly what we got.
Ok, so Bale's 2 late goals might have papered over some pretty big defensive problems but we all
know that and more importantly so do the coaching staff.
