To many it maybe "blue" and more recognisable as the colours of local rivals Everton but Liverpool have opted for a "cyan" feel to their 3rd kit for the 2011/12 season. According to the club and present sponsors Adidas the colours of white, cyan and black are based upon a turn back the clock approach to the kit design and reflect kit colours of 120 years ago in the clubs history to bring a fresh feel and choice of colours to the clubs store.
