The first excitement, as you've probably seen, was when Jamie Watson signed with FC Dallas. That
was just over a week ago, but already he's traveled to Toronto for Dallas' 2-0 win over TFC (though
he didn't see minutes in that game). Then this week, he played for the FC Dallas reserve team in a
match against Real Salt Lake's reserves.
Dallas blog, 3rd Degree has an interesting rumor posted on it's blog today about the status of the
reserve league. Rumor is that the reserve league could get the ax by the league due to the travel
costs needed to take the entire team to an away game instead of just having to take the game day
roster.
Hold on, it's not that big a deal. According to 3rd Degree, the great FC Dallas blog, the Wizards
have traded one of their international slots to Dallas in return for a 4th round draft pick in next
year's SuperDraft.
So no, not a glamor trade of any kind. It's the second international slot the Wizards have traded
away in the last two seasons.

created in 1998, with the addition of the Spark award in 1999, and the Ember Award in 2006. The
"Thirds" consist of two major categories, FC Dallas awards and League Wide awards, and
are based on regular season play.
