No Wonder Online Piracy Of Soccer Broadcasts Is So Rampant

Sometimes I'm not surprised that online piracy is so rampant when it comes to soccer. Trying to find out who has the rights to a game or tournament is very difficult, and even when you find a stream, you're not sure whether it's an official one or not.

Take, for example, the African Nations Cup which kicks off in a few hours from Angola.

Stephen King apparently traded

From reports I've seen, there's been nothing official, but all indications are that Sounders midfielder Stephen King has been traded to DC United for undisclosed compensation.

The Times Joshua Mayers tweeted about it earlier today, and said the midfielder wasn't at practice today.

Six games into the season, King was the only player who was both healthy and on the active roster not to get any playing time, so this would hardly count as a shocker.

Bob Bradley might have sealed the United States' fate by starting Ricardo Clark in the midfield. Clark was beaten against England early by Steven Gerrard and then beaten just as badly by Kevin-Prince Boateng early against Ghana.

After a yellow card, and more poor play, Clark was generously substituted 30 minutes in for Maurice Edu.

One, it's a loss to Arsenal. Fucking Arsenal. Nothing stings quite like a loss to that wretched lot. Much of that stems from the fact that we just don't lose to sides helmed by Arsene Wenger it was two losses in 18 matches prior to Monday's dissection at the Emirates.

There were creeping doubts in the friendlies to be fair, in which we were unconvincing, but I think most of assumed that when it came to crunch, we'd find our qualifier form all over again.
