The Major League All-Star game started out originally as a traditional East vs West but switched
formats in 2002. Since then, the game is the top MLS players versus a club from another country.
The last few years have seen Chelsea, Celtic, West Ham, and Fulham all take on the MLS All-Stars.
The MLS side has never lost a match against an international opponent.
It took less than 30 minutes for Beckham's banger against Barça it to make it to the interwebs.
This was scored in the 44th minute and as I type this we're less than 5 minutes into the second
half. As unsavory as some of his traits may be, dude can get it done on the field (scoring dead
balls) and off the field (scoring attention) like no other.
Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is finally back. After suffering a bizarred injury which kept

It was a great feeling when I came back and I got a great reception from the fans,
I am fired up to win a trophy and enjoying being back.

This is officially ridiculous. United down two goals with 15 minutes remaining, and for the
first time this season I actually am thinking "Yeah, but they've come back before from this."
Which, if one believes in tempting fate and what not, is exactly when United shouldn't come back.
Except, of course, Emilio flips one to the far post, then Tino screams one in from long distance,
and United come out of L.

So how did the Red Bulls walk into a four goals in 26 minutes haymaker from D.C. United that
effectively ended last night's U.
Kenya's coach Antoine Hey boycotted the team's trip to Abuja, Nigeria for Sunday's World Cup
qualifying match against the Super Eagles, a day after Kenya's players protested over non-payment

Hey arrived at the airport 30 minutes after the plane had taken off, saying he'd been held up in
the traffic.
As it was expected, Corinthians and Inter eliminated Vasco and Coritiba. But it was far from
being easy. After last week's 1 goal draw in Rio, Corinthians played for a 0 draw at home. And this
is exactly what happened. Vasco controlled the actions for most of the time. It had territory and
it attacked more.

Morning all, hope we find you well. I'm as tired as Galwayman's goat. I don't know really how
tired the goats of Galway men get but it just sounds good to my ear this morning.
We'll start with Eduardo around whom there has been some confusion in the last 24 hours. When

Mexico has a better "C" team than the U.S.
Good thing no-one cares about the Gold Cup anyway.
But no matter the competition or team the U.S. should never - never - lose 5-0 to Mexico. And
certainly shouldn't collapse on that scale, conceding five goals in just over 30 minutes.
How different would it have been if the likes of Rolling Hills Estates' Robbie Rogers had
converted first half chances?
What a game! Except for the nail-biting after going down 2 goals to none in the first half, that
was an incredible match! I printed my number 9 (and mounted it on poster board because I'm anal
crafty like that) and held it up with the crowd. The stadium went absolutely berserk when we scored
in the 95th minute, especially since we couldn't see the extra time remaining.

There are loads of things that we know, or think that we know, and we use those things. And there's
other things that we don't know, and we use the things that we do know, or think that we know, to
solve the things that we don't know.
When you are dealing with Big Fake, the solution becomes self-evident.

After a Gabriel Agbonlahor goal put Aston Villa up 2-1 in the 58th minute, Sir Alex turned to an

Rafa Benítez could not resist a dig at Sir Alex Ferguson on Saturday.Asked about criticism he
received from both Manchester United's manager and Sam Allardyce following Liverpool's recent win
against Blackburn, the Spaniard retorted. "Maybe people have nothing to do."
Ferguson claimed that when Liverpool assumed an early 2–0 lead Benitez made a hand motion
indicating the game was over but his Anfield counterpart insists it was merely a self deprecatory
gesture intended for Xabi Alonso who had ignored his instructions and created a goal.
Taylor Twellman became just the fifth MLS player to record a century of goals. He scored two
against the Red Bulls for a 4-0 thumping after coming on as a second half substitute for Pat

He was not the only one to record a milestone. Jay Heaps celebrated his 300th MLS appearance
with a goal and an assist.
The team got their first look at the training venue today with a visit to Pilditch Stadium in
Pretoria. About 30 minutes drive, the stadium is primarily used for track and field. There is a
grandstand one one side, with a grassy berm surrounding the other three. The pitch is in pretty
good condition, with members of the grounds crew working all morning to address the team needs
after a site inspection by the coaching staff.

Well, the first half was a comedy of errors with both teams blowing some great goal scoring
opportunities. While the US dominated the possession, they also couldn't notch a goal, and a few
sloppy defensive mistakes left Perkins 1 on 1 with some speedy Honduran forwards. Overall, the US
looked like the better team, but also the more nervous team.
