To mark the 20th anniversary of the Premier League, a series of awards will be handed out the recognise the best players, goals, matches, celebrations etc. of the past twenty years.

As you would expect, having won more Premier League titles than every other club combined, we dominate the awards.

Saint Etienne are currently flying in France's Ligue 1, and now is an appropriate time for it. The club's supporters group the Green Angels celebrated it's twenty year anniversary last weekend with a magnificent tifo display before and after their emphatic 4-0 win over Rennes.

The Richmond Kickers of USL PRO are celebrating their 20th Anniversary by rebranding with a new logo. "We've looked probably over the last five years at changing our logo, and for several reasons – the timing wasn't right or we felt it wasn't the perfect logo for us," Cowlishaw told Potomac Soccer Wire.

The "Phoenix Club" lives on

Tonight marks the 20th anniversary of the demise of Aldershot Football Club. Having been a member of the Football League for 62 years, the club was declared officially out of business on the 25th March 1992 and had to resign from the League.

Yet 20 years on, Aldershot Town FC have risen from the ashes, and tonight take on Bristol Rovers in what many might see as a standard midtable fixture.
