Caleb Porter's first camp in charge of the U.S. Under-23 national team is well underway in the
Sarasota/Bradenton area of Florida, as some of the most talented young players in American soccer
do their best to try and impress the coach assigned the task of helping the United States qualify
for the 2012 Olympics.

The United States Under-23 national team found out who it would play during the group stage of
Olympic qualifying earlier in the week, and now it knows when it will play each of its
opponents.
The U.S. team will open qualifying against Cuba on March 22, followed by a meeting with Canada
two days later and a final group game against El Salvador on March 26.

Some national team news has come out today regarding two Sporting KC players. First, Teal Bunbury
has been called up by Caleb Porter to the upcoming U-23 Olympic camp in Florida. The camp will take
place December 15th through the 23rd. The camp is in preparation for the upcoming Olympic
qualifying.
Women's Professional Soccer is awaiting a decision from the US Soccer Federation regarding its
future as a USSF sanctioned league. WPS now consists of five teams after the league terminated its
relationship with magicJack and its controversial owner Dan Borislow. Borislow is currently
engaged in litigation with WPS.
Another training camp for the US Men's U-23 players will begin this Thursday, December 15 in
Lakewood Ranch Premier Sports Complex in Florida under the tutelage of Coach Caleb Porter. Porter
has extended invitations to 28 American players to the camp that ends December 23 as he prepares
the U-23 players for Olympic qualifying in [.
Women's Professional Soccer lives, albeit conditionally and mysteriously.On Monday night, US
Soccer's Board of Directors agreed to sanction "Division I" five-team WPS for 2012 on the basis of
arguments made by league officials citing growing support from the 2011 Women's World Cup,
continued exposure for the sport promised by the 2012 Olympics Games, and potential expansion.
