After the week that saw plenty of draws, week nine brought in a little more bite. With three
games on Wednesday and a full slate over the weekend, a few teams saw the chance to move around a
good bit in the rankings.
The top clubs are still the same but it looks as though FC Dallas is try to break into the top
four.

Talk about an eye-opening weekend in Major League Soccer. With all teams involved for a change,
we got to see what everyone had to offer. Some brought their A-game (LA, Dallas), while others
slipped behind in surprising manners (New York, Columbus).

I mentioned yesterday that this is a busy weekend in MLS. Eight games tomorrow and one on Sunday
make for a lot of soccer to watch. No doubt the talk of the weekend is going to center around
Portland and Seattle's match tomorrow night.

will be an entirely new thing for the league.
As we saw last night, week night is already underway but the weekend slate of games is
jam-packed. Eight games on Saturday and one lone game on Sunday make for one busy weekend.

Week 9 in Major League Soccer gets started a little early again here. Three games tonight, four
if you count a friendly between New York and a soon-to-be MLS side in Montreal. Plenty to get done
today so the picks will be quick as usual, don't worry my What To Watch For post will be up
tomorrow as always on Thursdays to preview the upcoming weekend.
