In his first year in Boson, Adrian Gonzalez lived up to expectations and then some.
Justin Verlander is making a case for himself in the American League MVP race. The Detroit
Tigers ace pitched another masterpiece on Sunday to improve his record to 24-5. Though still
somewhat of a longshot, MVP voters have to take notice of what he's doing.

race for the AL CY Young Award. But today, one man is out in front: Justin Verlander. The hurler
for the Detroit Tigers won his 20th game on Saturday and now has complete control of the Cy Young
race.
