He's a long and difficult name to spell but it is something we will have to get use to with
Anthony Ampaipitakwong.
We're back for more 2010 MLS SuperDraft talk. I had meant to get to this yesterday but lost
track of time in updating some of my lists for this. So far the response from everyone has been
very good, so keep it up everyone.

While the MLS season is about to end it only means one thing, the SuperDraft is just right
around the corner. Yes, that means a boat load of college kids will head to the combine for MLS
coaches and scouts to pick out and find the very best of the best.
Jack McInerney is a young player with a bright future.
As I mentioned a week ago I am hoping to get this into a regular thing for at least the next few
weeks as we really start to gear up for the 2010 SuperDraft in just a couple (yes only a couple)
months away. The response has been pretty solid so far and I'll be honest a few of you have
mentioned some players that I had not heard of yet until now.
Andre Akpan could be a beast on the next level. (Harvard photos)
Last week I threw out some names that you may have already heard in line for next year's MLS
SuperDraft and I am back today with a few more. I hope to start making this list at least a twice a
month deal up until the draft in January.
Tony Tchani has been a beast for Virginia all season long.
It's been a couple weeks since my last update for the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. I hope later this
week to possibly post the order of the draft. I was waiting until the season ended to do so because
of RSL being in the final, they now own the final pick in the draft rather than the 11th or so pick
that I previously thought they'd get when the playoffs began.
I know version 1.0 was released just last week but a lot has changed since then in terms of
players signing with the league and some not signing with the league. With the recent news of a few
Generation adidas signings plus a few other rumors out there about other potential signings things
needed to be reflected here.
More 2010 MLS SuperDraft talk here now. MLS Insider is reporting that U-17 midfielder Jack
McInerney has signed a Generation adidas contract with Major League Soccer, joining Akron's Teal
Bunbury and Blair Gavin along with U-20 star Dilly Duka.
A formal announcement is expected soon.
Below you will be able to find hundreds of items sending you throughout the Internet and
Blogosphere to all the latest news and updates for the 2010 MLS Combine and 2010 MLS Super
Draft.

Buzz Carrick is the definitive source for all things MLS Combine and MLS SuperDraft.
I brought his name up in a recent SuperDraft watch (should have another one of those out soon),
and now he is set to enter next month's SuperDraft according to SBI.
Who am I talking about? UConn's stellar defensive-midfielder from Finland Toni Stahl has agreed
to sign a contract with the league, joining former Rutger's standout Dilly Duka for next month's
SuperDraft.
Major League Soccer announced its initial list of 62 college seniors that they invited to take
part in the MLS Draft Combine next month in Florida.
The MLS Combine will take place from Jan. 8-12 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The league will also add players signed to Generation adidas contracts to this list once they
are all announced.
Will Bates has lead Virginia in scoring this year.
Yes today has been a MLS SuperDraft kind of day around with news about the combine and players
potentially signing with the league to enter next month's draft. I figured I would continue the
trend with another look at things with another watch list.
Tough decisions all around Philadelphia right now for Peter Nowak and company. If the expansion
draft wasn't enough the club now has the fun of figuring out who exactly to take with their first
overall pick in next month's SuperDraft. Yesterday afternoon the college soccer season came to a
close and right away a few names jumped out for who they should take.
Danny Mwanga could be a top five pick.
As of today we have four quality players in the 2010 Generation adidas class but soon enough we
could have a few more. Both SBI and Buzz Carrick are reporting that multiple big names could be
joining the already impressive class for next month's draft.
We mentioned yesterday about a few players that could be close to signing a Generation adidas
contract, well now it appears that they have according to SBI.
Oregon State striker Danny Mwanga, Virginia midfielder Tony Tchani, UCLA freshman midfielder
Amobi Okugo, U.S. U-17 defender Zachary Herold and California striker Andrew Wiedeman have all
agreed to Generation adidas deals with MLS.
Depth.
You could call it "the" word of 2009 for the Chicago Fire. Whether it was Technical Director
Frank Klopas, a coach, a player, or a regular staffer, you couldn't get out of Toyota Park without
having to sit through yet another explanation of just how important - and strong - the depth of the
team was.
Is Wake Forest's Ike Opara (far right) going to be the top pick?
We're about a month out of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft and the draft coverage here on WVHooligan
continues to heat up. This will be the first of a few mock drafts that I will conduct over the next
few weeks leading up to the draft.
Here's some news that has to give some fans around the league a smile today. Steve Goff is
reporting that Herman Trophy finalist from Akron Teal Bunbury is skipping his final two seasons of
college to enter the MLS SuperDraft next month.
Bunbury had 17 goals in 25 matches this season and was named Soccer America's player of the
year.
Here are a couple of stories that are currently making the rounds...
First, we have an update on the World Cup ticketing situation courtesy of the folks over at
Soccer365. I went through this very process back in 2006 (I failed to get tickets) and it's a
little bit tricky. In order to be considered for tickets, you first have to submit pre-application
info to the U.
Happy New Year's Eve everyone! Only two weeks left until the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. A little time
has passed since the last Mock Draft but a lot has changed in terms of Generation adidas signings
which will cause some changes at the top of the order. I've also had a chance to speak with a few
folks around the league about their club's selections which has helped change a couple things here
and there as well.
First off a Happy New Year to all.
Second, SBI just released -- SBI MLS Draft Big Board (Version 4.0)

"Generation adidas update: Ike Opara and Corben Bone have signed deals, according to
a Wake source. Austin Da Luz also signed senior deal."
