U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati announced today that Bob Bradley has been relieved of his
duties as the head coach of the U.S. Men's National Team.
"We want to thank Bob Bradley for his service and dedication to U.S. Soccer during the past five
years," said Gulati. "During his time as the head coach of our Men's National Team he led the team
to a number of accomplishments, but we felt now was the right time for us to make a change.

The U.S. captured the Gold Cup title in 2007, earning a 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup
berth.The U.S. will learn its path to the regional title when CONCACAF announces the groups and match
schedule for the 2011 Gold Cup on concacaf.com Tuesday, March 8 at 12 p.m. ET. The confederation
championship will run from June 5-25 in 13 different stadia across the United States, culminating
at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena for the championship final.

As we look forward to Monday's highly anticipated announcement of the 2011 Gold Cup roster, we
first take a look back at the make up of the U.S. teams that competed in the previous two editions
of the confederation championship. The 2007 team had eight players returning from the 2005
championship-winning squad and went on to defeat Mexico in the final, securing a place in the 2009
FIFA Confederations Cup.

Bob Bradley's return to coaching may come sooner than later.
Egyptian outlet Al-Ahram is reporting that the former U.S. national team coach is among three
final candidates to take over as coach of Egypt's national team.
Bradley will reportedly interview for the job this week, along with Serbian Zoran Filipovic and
Colombian Francisco Maturana.

It took five years, but U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati has the coach he's wanted all
along.
Juergen Klinsmann was hired as coach of the U.S. men's national team on Friday, replacing the
ousted Bob Bradley.
"We are excited to have Jürgen as the head coach of our Men's National Team," Gulati said in a
press release.
US international Landon Donovan says he's excited about playing for Juergen Klinsmann, saying that
the German legend's "positive energy" could make a difference for the U.S. national team.
