Pictures of Manchester United's 2009/2010 home and away kit have been leaked. The kit was designed
to commemorate United's first FA Cup, against Bristol City. I hope these are not the real kits,
they are hideous, Nike could do so much more with this concept and make an amazing looking
kit. Bookmark This Post
With new kits being unveiled, and some still in speculation this is a tense time for fans. So
far this year we have seen some nice looking kits, and some awful ones. Below is a quick summary of
each Premier League teams new wardrobe.
Arsenal :
Again, the Gunners kits are designed by Nike and their main sponsors are Emirates Airlines.

Well that didn't take long, did it? Xabi Alonso was sold today for approximately 30 million pounds
(which was a shocking gain, if you ask me... which is different than the "shocking" transfers we
are usually involved in, like Owen for 8 mil), yet we have gone ahead and brought in Alberto
Aquilani on the [.

9/3/2009 - NEW YORK –The Seattle Sounders have become the first team to qualify for the 2010-2011
CONCACAF Champions League, cementing their place by beating D.C. United to win the U.S. Open
Cup.
The Sounders' 2-1 victory in Washington Wednesday night made it the first team to clinch a place in
the 24-team field and claim the first of four berths from the United States.
As the Reds get back to training at Melwood this week, a certain Glen Johnson has shown up to
the club, and if I do say so myself, he looks good in red!
Gerrard is enamored by his new team-mate!
Johnson's arrival is one of several of players who took part in World Cup qualifiers, as he was
joined back in training with Stevie G and others.
So much for speculation. The sad news has finally reached its epic conclusion. Xabi Alonso has
indeed handed in an official transfer request, and a move to Real Madrid looks imminent. Some say
25 mil, others say 28 mil, but knowing my beloved Liverpool in the transfer market, we'll probably
send him to Real for 15 mil and get Guti in exchange.
Many are talking today about the apparent "pissed –off" face &gesture of CRISTIANO RONALDO
towards his Coach after beingsubstituted yesterday against Tenerife. But let's talk about
anotherRonaldo action this time on the field. Have a look at the video:what if Ronaldo had scored
in this particular play?
Manutd.com will unveil the new kit on July 1st, but we already have it here.
As you could see from the Rio and Rooney pictures, AIG is still the front shirt sponsor. You
could also see the black V across the chest
The players will don the kit for the first time during their pre-season tour of Asia next
month.
It was a rough night for those who follow MLS with every baited breath and look for moments that
can help with the growth and credibility of the league.
It was shocking to see how poor Columbus was at Estadio Azul in a 5-0 loss to the 'Cementeros'.
Not to mention that a former FC Dallas reject Ramon Nunez led the way in the first eight minutes
setting up a goal and then scoring from long range.
Four games played on Saturday of Round 10 in "La Liga". Here is aquick & brief summary of
events.Once again REAL MADRID defeated ATLETICO DE MADRID at the"Vicente Calderon" Stadium 2-3 in a
dramatic game. Real started without Raúl & Atletico left Sergio Aguero on the bench, the latterdue
to leg muscle worries which has caused controversy.
The news that is all over the place today is that Michael Owen is due to have a medical at
Manchester United on a free signing. Just the comment that he is "having a medical" made me laugh,
but the concept of him playing for United does NOT make me laugh. Any Liverpool supporter of any
sort of genuine truth from within would definitely not say they are pleased about this and that "ha

The 0-3 loss to Espanyol today in pre-season is not one of those pleasant feelings, but it should
not spark panic. There's a few factors here. First, it is fair to say that we didn't have our best
players out for the whole match. And when we gave up two of those goals, we had [...]

5-star Liverpool triumph in Singapore
Liverpool have secured their first pre-season victory with a comfortable 5-0 drubbing of
Singapore.
English team SUNDERLAND has defeated ATLETICO DE MADRID 2-0in today's Amsterdam Tournament. That
was not the only badnews, young Atletico midfielder Jurado was injured & taken off inthe ninth
minute. The two goals for Sunderland were scored byKIERAN RICHARDSON in the 46th min via a penalty
& in the 84thmin.
"The Kop comes to Asia" pre-season extravaganza resulted in a 1-1 draw with Thailand and a 5-0
thumping of Singapore. There were mostly positives to come from it all, but what one fears is
injuries... and we picked up a few (Skrtel and El Zhar, both out for 3-4 weeks). That said, our
players we NEED fit and that don't have suitable replacements did not come away with knocks.
It's all on the line for at a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup and the millions of dollars from FIFA
for just qualifying for it. It is the highest tournament that an MLS club can participate in.
Here's the bracket:
Competition page here.
And here's what you might want to read.
Alvaro Arbeloa has passed a medical at Real Madrid and has underlined our club's inability to
sell our players for a decent sum of money. It's as if we have a big neon sign on us saying,
"please, PLEASE take our player for a packet of crisps and a half-eaten sandwich." 3.5 mil for a
player who would have certainly had to battle extremely hard to even get minutes this season,
thanks to Glen Johnson, is not half-bad, but when it is a Spanish international going to a club
that spent 80 mil on Cristiano Ronaldo, then you'd have to say we got a bit hoodwinked.
