The Union confirmed on Monday that they have signed Kai Herdling on loan from 1899 Hoffenheim
ahead of the close of the transfer window on Monday night.
Herdling is listed most places—from Wikipedia, to fussballdaten.de, soccerway.

It has been one of those days. First the Sebastien Le Toux trade now these two stories.
First up is former US youth phenom Charles Renken has been signed by the Portland Timbers. The
Timbers got the youth star off of waivers somehow.
Giovani Dos Santos is no stranger to moving during the winter transfer window, but instead of
what has happened in past years, he is on the verge of leaving club purgatory for good.
Forever glued to the bench at Tottenham, the 22-year-old Mexican star is on the verge of a full
transfer to Spanish club Villarreal, according to reports from Europe.
The Portland Timbers are certainly not resting on their laurels heading into February as they
just announced a new player acquisition in Charles Renken, a midfielder, via the MLS waiver.
According to assistant coach Amos Magee:
"While only 18, Charles is a talented player who is already accustomed to the professional
environment," said Amos Magee, Timbers assistant coach.
Jermaine Jones and Schalke 04 will return to the Champions League after topping Hertha Berlin
4-0 and securing third place in the Bundesliga. Jones logged 85 minutes for Schalke.
U.S. starting goalkeeper Tim Howard and his Everton team blanked U.S. midfielder Clint Dempsey
