A big game for Kenny Cooper in Germany's DFB Pokal. Cooper had 1860 Munich's second goal in the 50th, doubling their lead over Hertha Berlin after Rasmus Bengtsson put the ball into the back of his own net in the 10th. Cooper left the game for Alexander Ludwig in the 68th minute. Hertha would come back, with Gustavo Ramos scoring in the 76th and Valeri Domovchiyski forcing overtime three minutes later. About a month back the STO Commish heard some interesting news. U.S. forward Kenny Cooper signed with German club 1860 Munich. Cooper's signing with the club came a few months after starting U.S. defender Oguchi Onyewu signed with Serie A squad AC Milan. And just a few weeks back Jozy Altidore was transferred to Premier League club, Hull City.

It's been a busy weekend and Monday for Americans Abroad with several matches in Europe. In Germany for 1860 Munich of Bundesliga 2, Kenny Cooper scored again while Brad Friedel earned an impressive road win for Aston Villa. Tim Howard once again had little support from his offense as Everton fell while Jonathan Spector struggled for West Ham.
