Liverpool has made drawing games their specialty, as they failed to capitalize

Big controversy in the weekend's big Prem game. Emmanuel Adebayor, sitting on a yellow, lazily
flailed his arm (6:40 above), which graced Alvaro Arebloa, who then reacted as though he'd been
kicked in the face by Jet Li - or knifed, as is Emmanuel's interpretation. Cue second yellow/red
card and thus a bit of controversy.
AEK, after a disappointing performance, luckily managed to get away with 1 point yesterday. The
team played a poor game of soccer and only until Basinas was taken out at half time were they able

Southend United gained a valuable point at table-topping Scunthorpe on a chilly October night at
Glanford Park. But the Blues will feel hard done by after conceding a dubious penalty with just
eleven minutes to go.
The first half was a gritty affair with both sides playing some good football.
Due to a late bit of work coming my way, I failed to get down to Roots Hall for the big game.
Apparently the Blues were very good in the first half, but had to weather a bit of a Forest
comeback in the second. Good to see another one of our loanee signings on the scoresheet.
