Catholic over Pembroke 2-1. Catholic goals by freshman Luke Straus and last year’s leading scorer, senior Cullen Barr. Pembroke scored early second half off a deflection. Otherwise GK Levi Millsap preserved the victory with several standing “O” saves. Interestingly, the St. Louis Suburban Journal had this to say in a Tuesday story about Class 1 Whitfield.
